They sure do, and that's why it's still the same today, no change at all.
Nader's a great man, but Americans don't deserve him. They deserve the kind of scumbags they've been voting for since their farce of a nation was founded. And the fact that they keep voting for such scumbags proves it.
I always wonder? How can this be? Entire country with all the people in it? support the man (Hitler) who wanted to kill all the Jews of the world? DO you see Today! How was the U.S. President slapped in the face? by the Prime Minister of Israel and AIPAC? Slapped the president in his house? In the U.S. Congress? Netanyahu came and challenged him in Congress? In Congress!?? .. Perhaps you see now, what Hitler saw in the past? ? Awake! Stop paying taxes to Israel, killers of children!
Nader can never be elected. there are too many people in this country with their hand out for something free. All I hear is " i want free insurance", I want the govt. to pay my portgage because I bought too costly a home and I only work at an old change place and my wife lost her job at wallmart." Why cant we as a people go back to taking responsibility for ourselves instead of screwing around in school, then knocking up some girl, not marrying her, and then going on foodstampsand wellfare...
But you forget how the wars are funded or how workers in large corporations have it made. There are some people who dont want to see the system changed, and they hide behind patriotism and will fight you till there last breathe, in fact there are ALOT of people like this. You can't win. It's human nature to be this way. Sorry I don't have any suggestions, get rid of some assholes who are only looking out for #1.
I live in the UK, and we had 10 years of Tony Blair, a man who like Obama promised change and hope after 18 years of Tory rule, and we believed him, because there was 'no alternative'. Now, Blair's legacy is two illegal wars, political corruption, spending cuts and foreign dependency on the USA. Obama and Blair are so identical it's scary. We were greatly let down and sadly, so will those who put their trust in Obama in 2008, starting with Afghanistan, the economy, the environment, healthcare...
I am an arab and I voted for nader just because he loves America, and he Loves the people of America.power to the people, and lets love one another. it is not too late
The change I wanted to see was Dennis Kucinich. I've been disappointed by Nader losses in the past and knew he had no chance. The airwaves are denied to the people the main stream fear. Kucinich was silenced early because of this. He called for the impeachment of Cheney and Bush which was truly justified after the WMD fiasco but there is a fear in the democratic party of taking action that could be seen as unpatriotic. I thought Dennis unlike Nader at least had a chance to be heard. I was wrong.
I like how the media tells us to write to OUR state congressman while their corporate "chains," stringed across America, talk to ALL of OUR congressmen from each state they are in. (Walmart is in all 50 states.)
They represent themselves as part of the "local business" community in your town or state.
It's one of the Greatest swindles of the corporations upon the people.
And we are told to love it or believe in them because they tell us that we benefit with the jobs that r non-livable wages.
And who is responsible for turning your daughters into sluts? Britney Spears? Miley Cyrus? No! The media! You wouldn't know Miley Cyrus was living with her 20yr old bf if it weren't for the media exploiting it. It is the media's job to corrupt this nation...
and the media isnt reporting anything that happens locally in our home towns nationally unless its something tragic or something positive that many just see one get justice but the rest of us still dont benefit as a whole from it.
The media exploits us for their gain and, on the large part, keeps us ignorant of each other. And I mean that even between states.
Nader and just about any other candidate outside of the Dem/Rep party would benefit us all (with some exceptions like Ron Paul)
this man is right! prepare to be disappointed. and u would've been disappointed with either mccain or obama. so who should u have voted for? um... there was another man running for president, didn't u see him on the ballot? His name? Bob Barr. Why hasn't anyone heard of him? Because the media is in control here. They don't want u to vote for Bob Barr. They want someone that will support the North American Union.
657,389 people are reported to have cast their vote for Nader/Gonzalez in the election. I'm damn proud of every single one of them. Especially since one of those people is me.
Well, folks- it's official. Barack Obama has been elected President of the United States. Only time will tell if he is worthy of the office or not, but many of us, especially those who voted for Nader this election, might want to remember Mr. Nader's words-
and has made clear his intentions of adding troops in Afghanistan while instigating Pakistan and promoting the LIE that Russia attacked Georgia and so on!! So what difference is he from Bush or McCain?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! The definition of Insanity is to do the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.
Ralph Nader would not disappoint us as President- he never has! He never has and he never will, yet the big parties go on ignoring him and all he has done for the American people. It just ain't right.
Nader you are awesome! Please check out the work of Zacharia Sitchin and tell everyone you know to do the same... there is much more than meets the eye ;)
I will too. We need everyone to stop voting for the lesser of two evils and start voting for the one they *really* want in office. If some folks really do want one of those two in office, fine. But I know I don't. Democrat or Republican? How about neither? Instead, how about Ralph Nader? Vote for Nader/Gonzalez '08, people. Let's do this right.
Ya America is going to be disappointed for sure. A lot of the people are really believing in him this time. His followers are thinking he will do something he isn't even promising. I just don't get it when he says he will increase military budget on TV and every one turns a blind eye. Is that really what we need to do in a crisis? Not a whole lot is really going to change.
Obama just voted for a $700 billion corporate bailout at taxpayers expense that was endorsed by Bush and then claims he's Mr Change. He's just added to the deficit with his vote and then blames Bush as if he plays no part by continuouly voting to fund the Iraq war, increased military spending and corporate bailouts .
"They like it the way it is".
They sure do, and that's why it's still the same today, no change at all.
Nader's a great man, but Americans don't deserve him. They deserve the kind of scumbags they've been voting for since their farce of a nation was founded. And the fact that they keep voting for such scumbags proves it.

Is Nader running in 2012? I sure hope so, but as much as I hate to say it, he's getting up there in years. He's right around the same age as McCain.

How can the media exclude 3rd parties from the debates, when they broadcast on OUR airwaves? They should at least allow 4 parties into the debates.
