  • shame that he died on cancer...

  • Ha he is the real Daredevil XD

  • @Kiszte16 Incorrect, he puts Daredevil TO SHAME.

  • he has the same ability as Bats. cool he is a super human

  • R.I.P

  • its amazing to see what people can overcome...makes you really respect that youre healthy and have all your senses....

  • He has all of his senses, he has a gift and he is no different than anyone else.

  • who is he??

  • This is not a hoax, do some research on the issue. Echolocation for the blind is a very old concept and study. The boy does not see in his head a beautiful replication of the world around him every time he makes a 'click' sound, but it does give him an overall idea of where objects are and how big they are.

Echolocation is a very mammalian evolution, so it is not surprising that humans when vision is removed have other neurological mechanisms for moving around in our surroundings safely.

  • Thanks for your answer... I've done some research right after... I can understand how he can "see" where a house is.... but the side of the sidewalk while he's riding on a bike? That's just incredible!!!

  • Cancer :(

I feel really sorry for relatives. He seemed like a extraordinary guy.

    R.I.P.

  • how did he die?

  • Rest In Peace Ben

  • good night sweet prince

    (no homo)

  • That was awesome

    Rest In Peace buddy

  • R.I.P Ben

  • Oh what the fuck, he died? That sucks incredibly. He was probably only one of a handful of people in the world with this ability.

  • Don't count on it. I've met a blind guy who could do this. Maybe not as well as Ben but the idea is spreading!

  • death is such a waste...

  • is he still alive?

  • Unfortunately he passed away in January from the cancer recurrence, a week before he was to turn 17. RIP.

  • Rest In Peace Ben

  • he died on january 19 i think

i went to his celebration of life with friend that was friends with him

he is really sweet i met him sort of in a way

wen he was dying my friend was there and they were really close and they want to a cancer camp wit him

    RIP ben underwood

    i love u

  • Wow... Truly amazing!

  • I was at his memorial service today. What an inspiration to so many people.

  • Such a sad loss for such a great person... you will be missed Ben Underwood...

  • I saw him last night in polish television and I think he is phenomenal . Just wonderful guy ;)

  • Aaaw. How clever. It's so amazing. What a wonderful kid.

  • i think the human race limits itself. I think God has given us great abilities that we do not even know about because we are trained to think in a certain way from infancy therefore robbing us the ability to think outside the box. i agree with you..this is an amazing kid

  • Amazing. Glad to see that he is using what God did bless him with to his advantage. He is an amazing person.

  • Just one question for you? Do you enjoy living in the details? Does it make life for enriching and fulfilling?

  • I dont know why you are getting negatives for a comment that is truer than most others on here. I completely agree with you. Yes, he's amazing, but no, he can't do everything. People who give your post (and mine) negatives are just unrealistic and want everything to be peachy (these same people probably call short people vertically challenged).

  • Jesus said by faith, you can tell a mountain to move and it will move so don't tell me a blind person can not do anything

  • I'd love to see that happening!!

  • It's bloody INCREDIBLE how people can read your post CALLING them on their closed-minded, ignorant, zombie-like behavior, and STILL lower your grade when all you're doing is stating the truth.

Amazing how the anonymity of the internet turns people into festering, boorish morons.

  • I agree with you. People just look for these "inspirational people" to have something to cheer for. And they don't know when to stop cheering.

  • This creates huge opportunities for blind children who can be trained from infancy to use such skills. Wonderful!

  • That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. This kid is amazing.

  • Wow... What a legend!

  • wow!:O
