im so upset he passed away... my psych teacher didnt even tell me when she showed us this video.. I guess it would've ruined the mood of how happy this kid was, happier than most of the people in the world.. maybe not seeing this ugly world is a blessing
mannnnnnnn i m not blind but i want to learn that and i will learn it eve if it takes my hole life, still amaze me how can he hear his eco in a open place o.o my mouth was open with the basketball scene

What kind of god allows this? A God that is not afraid of suffering; who knows it often reveals greatness. A God who allowed a perfectly innocent Man to die a brutal death on a crucifix for the remission of cancerous behavioral consequences the world of mankind brings upon itself. A God that respects freedom, allowing us to choose our path, or His. A God that knows death is not really the end of life, just the end of a life of suffering. The start of life eternal. What kind of God: A Good One.
Oh, he died I didn't know. I am just being introduced to him. Please pray for his family! Thank you BEN for the gifts you shared with us while you were here. You gave us a new way to look at the world. GOD be with his family during this difficult time!
This is not a hoax, do some research on the issue. Echolocation for the blind is a very old concept and study. The boy does not see in his head a beautiful replication of the world around him every time he makes a 'click' sound, but it does give him an overall idea of where objects are and how big they are.
Echolocation is a very mammalian evolution, so it is not surprising that humans when vision is removed have other neurological mechanisms for moving around in our surroundings safely.
Thanks for your answer... I've done some research right after... I can understand how he can "see" where a house is.... but the side of the sidewalk while he's riding on a bike? That's just incredible!!!
i think the human race limits itself. I think God has given us great abilities that we do not even know about because we are trained to think in a certain way from infancy therefore robbing us the ability to think outside the box. i agree with you..this is an amazing kid
Let give up the phrase "he can do anything" because while he IS indeed an amazing young man he cannot do ANYTHING. He cannot be a surgeon. Really? Do YOU want him doing open heart surgery on your loved one? He cannot be an astronaut (the same physics of sound don't work on the moon) So yes, this is amazing and this young man is an inspriation to all. But there ARE limits.
I dont know why you are getting negatives for a comment that is truer than most others on here. I completely agree with you. Yes, he's amazing, but no, he can't do everything. People who give your post (and mine) negatives are just unrealistic and want everything to be peachy (these same people probably call short people vertically challenged).
It's bloody INCREDIBLE how people can read your post CALLING them on their closed-minded, ignorant, zombie-like behavior, and STILL lower your grade when all you're doing is stating the truth.
Amazing how the anonymity of the internet turns people into festering, boorish morons.
