I think what people have to remember is that before Tony's accident, his and Michelle's relationship was founded almost entirely on sex. In season one, Michelle even admits that Tony rarely conversed with her, and it light of that it's easy to see why Michelle judges Tony's love for her based on his sexual performance. As a character, Michelle's only human and it's understandable that she would be frustrated with and angry at the one she loves who is also causing her pain. Just sayin'.
