Jim, you're the man! It's nice to always be able to pull up one of your video's and know that it will be professional. Also, for getting these video's to all of us, somehow in the process of milking hundred's of potentially lethal snakes. Thanks as always.
None. He is just massaging the muscles around the gland to stimulate the snake to give venom. Remember that the snake's head is very mobile, so it can look like he is pushing harder than he is. We have had snakes be extracted from for over 20 years here- they are not damaged by extraction.
ah right i see, makes sence, its just what i heard if you push so hard it can cause them to rupture, im glad now that i jumped to conclusions, i understand completely now.
My God! what some long fangs he had, I mean those things had to be at least 2inches long WOW!! Also if I'm not mistaken I saw a fang fall off on the snakes left side (Our right side facing the screen) It must have been time for his new fang to come in and when he came off the cup before bitting down again, it caused it to come off. Did you guys even notice the fang? It sure was close to Jim's finger, when he was rubbing the head, I kept thinking it was going to stick him! Glad it didn't! ~ Lee
I don't even know why I am even watching this! I HATE snakes!

Yes. She shed a fang. This actually happens alot. I lookout for them so as not to accidentally stick myself.
