Can I ask someone? I've not done Lego since like 20 years ago when little. My new girlfriend has re-introduced this to me. Being an adult the NXT is appealling but it cannot be used with original Lego - What about technics?

well if u have the right pieces NXT can be used with the blocks by converters as such and i do have NXT so i know what im talking about

@norton628 I just got it the NXT 2.0, Wow it's good fun aye. Was up for 4 hours on Saturday night until 3.30 in the money doing it?!!

Right so the original blocks can be used with the convertes. And I assumeddefinitely with the technics. Basically I want the gears parts from it to expand the NXT range. I was in the shops and even the LEgo people wasn't sure. Doh?!

well it is part of the LEGO bussiness.... you need to buy some technic kits to grow your collection of pieces.... I had the same problem.... NXT has only 4 technic pieces compatible with original LEGO :S

but beleave me once you have enough pieces you can do anything

could be used to incorprate fire with nxt peices. all i need is some mould casting iron clan a micreowave iron and lego peieces.

jipje44, I'm really happy that you build it and liked it!!!! The nano one is (as described in the info) less stable but still fully functional. Note that stability is increased a lot if you use new black pins (those with friction). In my opinion, for its shape and color (especially if you use red pieces like I did) the nano is wonderful...
