  • love you christine... your voice is one of the greatest ever

  • Another of my favorite songs of Fleetwood Mac, I love the voice of Christine McVie. Thanks for sharing this wonderful song!!!

  • this music makes me think in times gone by . A really good song .

    christine´s voice so cool

  • @WalterB72 Christine is such a fabulous artist! She really delivered such high quality songs throughout her time with Fleetwood Mac. From 'Why' to 'Heart of Stone' Christine was the beautiful English Rose that had such a sweet yet bluesy voice, superb keyboard skills and the confidence to never try to outshine Stevie. She knew she belonged in that band, could write songs to stand by any other writer's and, as she said, "had paid her dues!" Over and Over is a Christine classic!

  • @redletter2008 I couldn't have said it any better! :-) .......If all is going to plan, FM will be touring again in 2012.....sadly, Christine - I suppose - will not be joining them, which is a shame, as she is just ...... Perfect!

  • @DutchStevieFan I so wish Christine would tour again. I am sure she will remain committed to her well-earned retirement, but perhaps she could record a new song with FM (or 2 or 3 if we are lucky!). I got to shake Chris' hand when FM was in San Diego in 1990. Stevie picked up some stuffed animals and bolted backstage. Chris went the entire length of the stage, shaking hands and thanking fans for attending. It was one of the highlights of my life! As you said, Christine is simply Perfect.

  • @redletter2008 Great response! Thank you! It must indeed be a fantastic experience to be so close to the band.....I saw FM back in the late 80s when Lindsey Buckingham was away, but still a fantastic concert, and last April I saw Stevie in LA: still great as ever! And yes, may be FM will make a CD next year.....may be...and it would be absolutely great if Christine would collaborate......better still if she would do both: touring and new CD :-)

  • @DutchStevieFan I would love to be able to meet (or simply be next to) Stevie as well. The closest I got was during her '94 tour at LA's Greek Theatre. We were driving down some road, saw some buses behind a chain-link fence and Stevie simply steps off the bus - in her "street" clothes (great outfit with matching hat, but not stage outfit). My friend screamed "Oh my God, that's Stevie!" It was and we nearly crashed. Shaking Chris' hand was better though because she was right there, 1 ft. away!

  • i play this tune over and over.

  • This is an all time favorite song of mine. I love the depth and sensitivity in the music. Did Christine write this song?

  • @emcleod2192

    Yes

  • @emcleod2192 The version on Fleetwood Mac Live is incredible as well. Stevie and Lindsey added some fine, country-tinged backing vocals not present on the LP version.
