The only way to stop it like you said is to check ourselves. Parents have to play their role as well and make children aware of these influences. Its a war on our mind in the entertainment and media, if the mind is weak then so are the people. It aint about "spitting" on the BLACK community it's about elevating yourself and your family not just as a BLACK person but as a person period.
