  • is it good on c02?

  • where can i get that exact pistol from please reply asap i been dying for that gun i cant find it anywhere somebody please tell me

  • @goldsgym1244 which is that? Nicer+cheaper gun

  • Quick Question- Is it a good pistol and worth getting? Nice reloading BTW

  • They are good fun, nice to have a replica of a classic, not to be taken too seriously. In the UK they are becoming the wrong side of costly though I'm afraid.

  • @Jes437 I know £165 is the cheapest i've found :( Just wondering can you fit sights ect. onto it/

  • There's an accessory rail that fits into the slot where the rear sight is, that gives you a typical mount for scopes, red dot sights etc. It's OK, but again it's costly for a little casting, and any sights like that get in the way of the loading. Tbh, the 'match sights' I've since fitted to this one are far more useful imho. Check out my vid on this 1911 and the CP88 Comp, you can see them on the gun there.

  • @Jes437 Thanks a lot, I'm sure i'll find somthing

  • @Nickona8 there is a new model out that is alot nicer and cheaper. 130 quid. also it has a mag

  • your too slow i can beat that

  • Cool, show us.

  • Wow that was oober fast

  • dont bother wasting your money mate..if you really want a pistol get the hw 45 it shoots at 6ft pounds as a suppose to the co2 guns whitch only shoots at 3 foot pounds

  • Power isn't everything. Shooting that heavy recoiling HW accurately is a lottery.

  • @Jes437 recoil on that pistol,at 6 ft pounds,an 8 year old girl could rapid fire it as though it were an.........airpistol?

  • Excellent reloading. You've must've really practiced for long.

  • i m thinking of buying a co2 gun and i like the umarex colt 1911 and the beretta 92fs but i dont know which is better can u tell me whitch is the more poworful and whitch is the more accurare.

  • I don't think there's anything between them on power and accuracy, and you have to get used to varying power anyway with CO2 stuff, but I find the 1911 shoots better for me as the trigger on the 92FS is a really long throw, and it's not so easy to use good trigger control imho.

  • Serious note... if you shot a zombie in the head with a co2 177 pistol... would it kill them? Or would it take 2 rounds... or would it never kill it?

  • well zombies dont exist you fucking idiot

if i shot you in the head with a co2 177 pistol then you would die

  • Lmao, look at how angry you just got. And zombies will exist... well the zombies like in 28days later and I am Legend... simply because they already do lol... just not in human form... YET muwhahahaaaa

  • co2 pistol?

no you'd be lucky if you put a small dent on the skull of a person with 480fps

My air rifle on the other hand can punch through both sides of a coconut and lodge in the fence, so i'd say its capable of taking down a large person, if you hit them in the right spot. at a relatively close range.

    "Mists" squirrels and birds to.

  • plz can you tell me what s the difference /colt 1911 A1 co2/and /colt goverment 1911 co2/ cuz i think one of them is better in many ways i mean i m confused and i dont know which to buy.

  • Check the specs for them, one might be a BB gun.

  • i have the same 1911 a1 but doesnt look as good as yours, how did u get it so shiny?

  • I've put a bit of self adhesive brushed aluminium on the ejection port, but nothing else, just the patina of use :-)

  • I see your in the UK, im after the beretta just to do some kill time on my back garden + for the novelty of the gun, how would i go about buying one of these i know thanks to retards the laws have changed over here so im just wondering if its still possible to buy em from store.

  • Assuming your age it's no problem for you to buy one of these legally in the UK, the only thing is that you have to do so over the counter of a shop, face to face. Remote sales via mail order, the internet etc have been outlawed. Best thing to do is to do the research first, then make the trip to your most attractive Registered Firearms Dealer (I mean service etc)......

  • ........Familiarise yourself with the laws of use too, and be sensible about the circumstances under which you use it. One sight of one of these in the wrong place will, quite rightly, raise alarm bells.

  • Thanks man well im 21 yo, i consider my self sensible when it comes to things especially guns. I just want something as a little hobby shootin cans etc, Dont want anything too powerful dont want a rifle cos there too big and ive always loved the beretta and i know Umarex does that gun so i may get one for christmas. I'll do more research as well on the legal side of it. Thanks for the help bud, good day.

  • Cool, they are great fun, and with care can cost no more than other 'air' guns to use, learning about what CO2 does in different air temperatures and rates of fire is worth knowing. All the best :-).

  • nice skills, im gna go try it now. i have a beretta 92f umarex. splashed out on nickel wood grips and it is very nice looking. brilliant gun and one of the more powerful. thinking of getting the 8in smith and wesson but have to find a dealer now the law has changed :(

  • Yah the law change has typically made it a inconvenience due to retards saddly spoiling it for us all, but hey man im just thankful were still aloud em. Its a bit out of the way but thankfully the gun store im going to aint too far away.

  • hahaha good :)

  • One word to describe your skill: MAGNIFICENT! I am picking mine up tomorrow at my nearest p.o. : ) I don't regret buying this pistol.

  • pretty good, its hard to do with the heavy trigger on those pistols

  • haha I've learned to do that tilt with the CP99, but you are just fast! Props, mate!

  • Thanks for uploading this vid [=

Took me a lil while, but i got it!

it's great to see the look on peoples faces when i do this, i have a guy who just keeps handing me mags for my CP88, and im just shooting and shooting and shooting :p

    Thanks a lot, *subscribes*

  • Respect mate, must have took some practice.

  • my bad i just saw the one of u doin that.

not bad for speed but poor on accuracy.

i was thinking of buying the berretta but apon seeing u video i see it has a long trigger pull b4 it fires i dont like that. im just checkin out some pistols on here but i will give a few a go down the gunshop 2 see what feels best 2 me b4 i buy

  • Hmm, 16 shots at an A4 target in under five seconds, accuracy is going to suffer for sure. Give it a go :-).

You're right, it's a long pull on the Berretta, and a big gun overall, not my favourite for handling. SHortest pull is the 1911, with the CP88 in between.

  • nice move! have u tried with more mags in between your fingers? id like 2 see a vid of u shooting and doing this

  • Dude, that was sick. I'm thinking of getting this gun or the Berreta PX4 Storm?

    Any thoughts?

  • Thanks. I've been looking at the PX4 myself, dunno though, I'm not enamoured with the quality of the magazine/clip and would prefer some reports from those who have bought one before committing.

  • GRRRRRRR! i hate the fact that replica airguns are illegal in Holland! :O

But nice gun! and nice reload, i've got the Umarex redhawk, the only multishot co2 pistol under 150 € ( or like 200 dollar )

  • It's unfortunate for you that Holland is so liberal in some ways, but so restrictive in others, but I guess there are similar things the world over. Many governments don't trust the people who vote for them, and it's the few who spoil it for the many.

  • haha idd,..jammer van onze kut wetjes

  • how much is this perticular gun?

  • About 149 UKP

  • good:D

  • i have the cp 88 good pistol!

  • me too =D love it!!

  • nice weapon i have the cp99 compact from walther

  • what model is that?

  • Colt 1911 A1 (Nickel)

  • Thanks, bought the blued one the other day, partially cuz of this video. Awesome gun!

  • you can hear your mum cooking in the backround... haaahahahha

  • My wife stirring coffee, I like coffee :-)

  • ruin it for me ;)

  • would be good if there is a place u can buy the parts there must be some around im in no hurry to get it fixed ty for u help

  • hi thkns but if u go onto the review 4th pic down with the blue arrow that has sanpped where the rivet is so its has come off and now it goes to far forward.. and it does not pull back when i press the trigger it will only work when i cock it back my self

so it just needs a mm or two so it will act as the metal that goes in front of the pin LOL COMPLICATED SHIT

  • Yep, I know exactly what you mean, the hammer falls off the front of the mechanism and locks. I'm just sying that being able toadjust the gap might be a good idea. If you are able to get a weld to take then it's perfectly possible to fill it accurately of course, but your weld will be soft, and it may wear. You'll note the safety lever thingy that's broken on yours is made of hardened steel, run a file across it and you'll feel what I mean.

  • thanks alot man but ive found away around it now u know the metal thing that raises up in fron of the fireing pin when u press the grip safety, well that snaped so im going to do a spot weld on the hammer so theres no need to use that saftey then, then im going to weld the grip safety flush with the handle so it will be ok lol but if that doesnt work ill just get a new mechnism or just get the mk iv blow back, so thanks for your help :) :)

  • Check out the material first. It might not take welding too well.

Coicidentally the same thing happened on my gun. If you go to my 1911 cp88 review on here, in the description you'll find a link to how I fixed it when the new one was in.

I thought about modifying the hammer too, but I figured it might be better to drill and tap it, then put in two grubscrews, one on top of the other so they lock together. This allows adjustment, as the spacing between the hammer and the valve is important

  • its a colt 1911 a1

  • hey im in uk do u know where i can get parts from for this gun i have snapped the whole hammer machanism ty

  • I believe the UK importer is 'Brockock' (01527 527800), but I'm not sure if you can deal direct, ask them. You may need to get in touch with your nearest Registered Firearms Dealer to secure spares for anything that is part of the firing mechanism.

  • u shudnt let the slide go that quick cos ive had my gun for 2 days and ive already nosticed a loosening ov the slide

  • Mine's ok after a year. I lubed mine with Tetra gun, and regularly remove the slide/barrel to celan it up. Check out the screw on the muzzle that holds the internal slide stop.

  • @ ectoplasma2, Groot gelijk. Would we say in belgium. :-)I'm buying this gun for 2 reasons, 1: for fun 2: to protect myself and others when somthing does go bad.

    Greetz 12syro12

  • nice tip thanks!

im getting a beretta px4 for my birthday

it should be worth the money! lol

    thanks

  • plz tell where to buy it !

  • I'm not familiar with Dutch laws about these guns, you will need to ask someone from your country to see where you can buy them. Cheers! :-)

  • ok =)

  • Hello, Nice reloading!! I have the colt 1911 in nickel finish as well but the finish on mine is cloudy and dull. How did you get your gun so shiny?

  • I think a lot of the shine comes from the handling. The slide in particualr has adopted this, but on the rest of the gun I always give it a wipe over with a cloth very lightly damped in gun oil, so that may be adding to it. In addition I've added a piece of brush chrome effect sign vinyl in to the ejection port, to make it more credible looking form film use, you can see that better on my vid here about this gun and the CP88.

  • I've got the EXACT same pistol, nice piece they are.

Yes, the police don't allow you to protect yourself but I don't care, my one is in it's case with 8 pellets loaded and all needs to be done is the co2 canister pushed up for it to be live, and if anyone comes in my house it's coming with me.

  • I can respect your view, but more instances of illegal use of these here will lead to thousands of sports users having them removed, having a properly protected society to stop the break-in in the first place would be the way to make this unnecessary. Let's hope we get that.

  • I agree, my gun is no threat to anyone if they ain't breaking into my house.

  • lol wow

  • not to bad hay do you have any other .177 pellet guns for sale mate?

  • Yup! Following our skype con, let me know when your ready :-)

  • you think your fast?!

  • I think nothing, I've simply challenged others to beat the 16 shot challenge this video response refers to. Can you?

  • It is remarkable. Very quickly.

  • ur cool but i wonder, could u use a co2 pistol for selfdefence? I'd hate to shoot a burglar a few times and then notice he isn't down. I do know that a 1000 fps rifle would do the trick ( already tried with a fried chicken : p ) but i wonder if a co2 pistol would hurt someone who is wearing clothes? Pls tell me ur opinion.

  • I wouldn't even consider defending myself with a co2 pistol, even if the laws here allowed that. You'll annoy him, but little else.

  • I dont know about that. Im actually considering getting a CP99w/laser for some protection. I have no intentions on killing anybody, but I guarantee you a laser in someones eye at night will get their attention first and foremost, secondly, trying taking some wadcutters to the forehead, eyes, mouth, kneecaps, etc. It WILL make them think twice, if not give up on the spot. This isnt paintball or airsoft we're talking about.

  • Sorry mate, in my country I simply can't support such a concept.

  • Hey, no worries. But explain what you mean. If someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night...what do your laws allow you to do? Shout at them? Throw a spoon? I mean, you do have a right to protect yourself right? I know I do. Im just not the killing type. Ill physically do harm to somebody though and make them wish they hadnt broken in, hold them at (pellet)gun point until the cops show up.

So please explain what you mean.

  • You're allowed to use reasonable force to protect yourself. This can not include the use of air weapons, co2 or not.

  • Ok. Define reasonable force. Such as? Physical attack (punches and kicks?) Does it allow real ammunition (guns and riffles) and just not air powered guns?

Im really not picking at you, Im just intrigued and curious as to what "reasonable force" is when an intruder has broken into your home and possibly threatened you and or your family.

  • Say, physical force of minimum sufficient magnitute to cause the cessation of any attack, or to restrain to arrest, unarmed only, certainly no firearms, pistols are otlawed in this country for anyone other than law enforcement officers and the armed forces. You can not use rifles and shotguns for self defence. What I may do to defend my family I can not account for, and what I am personally prepared to do is for me only to know, but I can not advocate use of projectile weapons of any type.

  • Wow. Interesting.

  • Love it. "Throw a Spoon" Lol

  • i see the topic i started is returning. Anyway i completely agree with Jes although we should all realise that the actual purpose of a gun is to injure another being. U can not deny this. Even if you say you use it for sport or fun you should remeber the original purpose. So the topic should be discussable i believe. Only the way you mentioned it sound awfully cruel. Do you honestly believe you can kill someone with a pellet pistol? Because i am not sure ?

  • Well I shot my buddy in the arm from 30 ft away when we were wasted with the umarex cpsport. the lead flat tip was stuck in his arm for three days until a doc removed it. could it penetrate a skull? doubt it, but it does do some harm

  • For sure, but you're talking stopping power, and intruder with adrenalin pumping is going to be on top of you damn quick. In my country if I did such a thing, I would be the one going to jail! People have even been successfully sued here by crooks because guard dogs have injured them ffs!

  • I live in Belgium... And basicly i prefer just to shoot targets. I m a very peaceful person, but do u have any idea how scary it is to see a gang armed with knives surround u and ur girlfriend for no good reason? Thats what happened to me, they insulted and humiliated her and i was powerless. Dont get me wrong. I m a 2m tall boxer but a gang armed with knives just leaves u powerless if ur not carrying anything yourself. I hope u can understand my reasons for having asked this strange question

  • sweet ty mate :p and i don t intend to kill someone. But if some punk shows up with a knife in front of me again just to rob me i'd be glad to shoot him in the shoulders a few times.

Everything is better then being stabbed or robbed...

  • how much is that gun wats the fps

  • That particular one is about £150 in the UK, £125 for the black one, they are quoted as 400-425 fps dependent on conditions (they don't like cold days)

  • you need to get a life

  • Lol! Nah, perish the thought.
