  • For those wondering, no I never got the scholarship. Money is real tight with the military lately but I did join NROTC anyway. I'm getting ready to head into my 2nd class year as a Midshipman. I have, however, been submitted for a leadership scholarship by the unit staff at my university which I should find out about soon. Currently sitting on a 3.8 GPA and good PT scores. I don't select my job for another year or so but with my current scores I'm very likely to get Student Naval Aviator!

  • I didnt know doctor dre was on carrier

  • Graduating MC a school in 29 days hooyah!, then I go to the USS Reagan for 3 1/2 years, I'm Loving it.

  • Comment removed

  • this episode is literally the first time I heard the Killers' song: all these things that i've done, and i instantly fell in love with it...AT THE SAME TIME, i fell in deep respect of these great people on this great ship.

  • I remember this morning....I was WIDE awake @ 2:00a.m. trying to decide if I was going to get in my car and motivate to S.D., or not. Sitting in a College classroom later that morning I had tears streaming down my face...class mates thought I had gone off the deep end. I Could Not explain to them what the tears were for....talk about scared to pieces---I had no concept of what my precious friend was in for.....I've said it before and I will say it again....freedom is Not Free!

  • i cant wait to get on a ship tbh i am tired of living almost like a civilian puke, no offense.

  • I'm on episode 6! Amazing documentary. Those pilots have my dream job. I'll know by December if I get my NROTC scholarship. If I do I'll be on my way to the carrier deck!

  • Did you get it man?

  • @DKToshiro If you're asking me about my NROTC, no I haven't gotten anything yet. My online status still says "No decision has been made on your application." Aparently their decisions are running a bit late this year.

  • @flyboy4692 good luck its a blast

  • @flyboy4692 Did you get the scholarship? I have been considering applying

  • @flyboy4692

best of luck flyboy. i recently enlisted leaving for basic april 13th.

maybe we'll end up in the same carrier group (i'm hoping for a destroyer or frigate.)

  • my dads friend was on a carrier for a year(forgot the name of it)and he said it was so big he nvr saw the whole carrair b/c it was so big =D

  • i remember this day like yesterday!

  • My dad flew F-14s off this carrier for VF-84 Jolly Rogers!

  • Whats the title to "The Killers" song

  • I'll These Thing I've Done

  • correction: All These Things That I've Done.

  • thats where i go on deployment!!!

    VAQ-135!!

  • The US's first line of Defense & Offense!!!

    PERIOD!!!!!

  • it might be fun to watch it on tv or you tube but believe me its no fun. my deployment was 9 months. thank god i am out and going to college now

  • maybe not. but some of the friends you had and made on there will last you a life time. Iowa BB61 vet 87. tell me I'm wrong.

  • This was the best documentary I have ever seen. One day I will buy the dvd version when I have the money.

  • Is this show worth downloading off itunes?

  • Yes, definitely.

  • USS Guam LPH-9

    I remember it fondly

  • This was a great series. After watching the whole thing and doing some volunteer work for Obama, I am seriously considering enlisting.

  • whats the volunteer work got to do with it lol...if you enlist you do it from your heart...not from watching a show...or doing some totally irrelevant volunteer work.

  • USS Spruance DD963,nough said.

  • one would think coming from PBS this would be a better quality video the sound quality sucks!

  • seriously.

  • GREAT DOCUMENTARY! Very realistic without a doubt! Having served aboard USS New Jersey BB-62 and USS Saratoga CV-60, this video is the real deal!

  • I watched this on tv awhile ago it's a really good show. I feel bad 4 Chris about his situation with his girlfriend. I know some1 very close 2 me is in sorta the same situation. The girlfriend got pregnant over a month after he left and it's not his.

  • lol.. that always happens.. lol

  • his problem was that he couldn't take a hint.

  • where does the crew go then?

  • hats off to these great people on board! i just love the song "All the things that I've done" by The Killers. it keeps me moving...

  • lol, I'm on the Nimitz, but I was on the Reagan when this was shot.

  • I love the opening song "Haze grey and underway". Could someone post that?

  • It's a black boat!

  • ...... takes me back, wish i could go back to my ship USS HARRY S TRUMAN.... i still remember our maiden voyage in 2000...... miss it.

    OS2

  • i want an aircraft carrier

  • the opening is amazing, the soundtrack was superb everytime i played the song it reminds me of my past deployments , go navy

  • any ITs in the building???? i have questions

  • OPSEC!!!

  • This is the best and most accurate documentary of life at sea that I've ever seen. GO NAVY!

  • this is very real im on the Uss John C. Stennis the most powerful carrier in the fleet and im also a red shirt AO ordie or whatever you wana call me. its a great video IYAOYAS.

  • my son is an F/A18 mechanic (VMFA-323) attached to the USS John Stennis. Semper Fi!

  • "prison" hah! they have it so easy on a surface ship....they have no idea

  • submariner i presume? lol

  • sounds like a bubblehead to me. Gotta wonder about those guys who willingly get on a boat that sinks on purpose.

  • a usual response from a target

  • but this target is impossible to doestry with all the ships around it

  • I would've preferred that the show focused more on the carrier and naval duties/life and slightly less on the personal relationships.

  • there was a program on the military channel called "anatomy of a supercarrier" it was kind of like this but more of what you were talking about. i think they followed the USS RONALDO REGAN.

but it wasnt a miniseries it was a one time deal.

  • Having deployed once aboard the Carl Vinson (CVN-70) and three times aboard the Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) I can honestly say there isn't any finer ship than a NIMITZ CLASS Carrier. PBS has done great justice for those that make these massive warships come to life.

  • I am a midshipman and I want to fly a F/A-18 Super Hornet. Would this series give me the best idea of what my carrer will be like?

  • I guess, its a great series and it talks about alot of aspects of carrier life or the Enlisted, the officers, the aviators and the personel (sorry, forgot what the people in the different colored shirts were called).

  • lol 3.58 my brothers in the navy and he says the same thing

  • I'm a navy mom, and Ra Ra Ra! I enjoyed the series, but I didn't like the way the Marine Sargeant treated his wife, he was a jerk. He should not have been dancing with another woman. I also didn't like the cook supervisor, he was a NAG! And, the racist was retarded, plain and simple, wouldn't want him on my son's ship. I also didn't like the sexual preditor.....he was bad!

  • Thank you US NAVY!

  • If you wanna wast money and do nothing with your life buy a carrier and go out to sea for 10 months on 2 separate deployments. Oh by the way your only going around in circles why men and women die on ground...

  • Mensota100 that is a very terrible thing to say. They are not just going in circles. There are missions and events going on that may only seem like circles but are very important in preserving life and liberty in the United States. It's sad that people die on the ground, but it doesn't mean that a Naval Aircraft Carrier isn't important. Maybe you should go move to a third world country where you can be shot for saying things like that so you can appreciate your freedom here in the USA!

  • love the call to man the rail.

  • HOOYAH!!!!

  • THE BEST

  • I would like to see a documentary on a LHD or LHA. Seeing sailors and marines interact is way more drama!!

  • Who writes the song? because i've heard it before, and I really like it.

  • I'm looking for it myself. Any ideas?

  • Got it

The song is by "The Killers" entitled "All These Things That I've Done"

  • watched it all... they could have edited it down to 5 episodes. it really got kind of boring.

  • I was on NIMITZ during this deployment. No cruise is easy, however, this one was one of the easiest cruises I had been on. Just to let everyone know (CDR Fravor) from VFA-41 was probably the best of all the Commanding Officers onboard..his personality is exactly like when he was on camera. THE best stories of this cruise were left untold and although a few Sailors seemed out of control, that in no way was the standard onboard; Some great people made this cruise a good one.

  • May 11, 1989 was the day for me. That is when the carrier that I served on, the USS America (CV-66), deployed on a Med/Indian Ocean Cruise. I had reported abaoard in October 1986 after there return from the 6 month Med. I went through the entire Portsmouth rehab in 1987, the work-ups in 1988, and finally, the culmination in 1989. I can relate to what these sailors felt like. But I wouldn't trade the experience for anything in the world.

  • I really liked the people on the ship with the exception of that nasty supervisor in the Mess deck, the supervisor of the young sailor from Sacramento, CA. He was a real pig. I think he needs his head examined. Also, I didn't like the racist redneck that was let out of the navy, he was a total loser. Could see why his child bride got rid of him once she was in college. And lastly, the horrible sexual preditor Sexual Assault Counselor....what a sleezy character. Boy did they misjudge him!

  • "I am a United States sailor

I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.

I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend the freedom and democracy around the world.

I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with HONOR, COURAGE and COMMITMENT.

I am commited to excellence and the fair treatment of all."

    HOORAH NAVY. HOORAH MILITARY

  • Well if you want to protect freedom and the constitution, you better do something about your president. I hope you know how to vote next time so we can restore the constitution and our destroyed reputation.

  • you know...maybe this person didn't vote for our current president. Just because we're (because I am) in the military and have to carry out the Presidents orders, doesn't mean that we have to vote for that President. We're still part of the system...which...holy dog shit, is under the constitution..the same constitution that we swore to protect regardless of who the President is. The President could be Cookie Monster and we would still protect that and freedom the same way we're doing it now..

  • mmm... COOKIES!!!

Yeah, I swore the Oath too, up at MEPS. Just 3 days ago.

  • the only thing that destroyed our reputation is when we promise to protect some one & then when they need us some liberal says " well its not our fight" reputation is built on keeping your word. but due to the political manuvering in this country our politicans weasel out of commitments, oh, & by the way why was it O.K. for Clinton to lie & steal for 8 years, but if Bush "Lies" its wrong, I can't take a double standard seriously.

  • hell ya :D btw its Hooyah for the Navy lol but i like where your heart is!

  • sorry, naval aviator

  • im 16 and i have always been interested in the navy. this show made me want to be a navy pilot even more than before, watch it if you can

  • I watched this full story shortly after my husband and his army brothers and sisters deployed. I was so caught up in my own emotions till i saw it from the other side. This really is a heart wrenching story of the men and women who serve our country. It truly moved me. God bless you all and I thank you for all that you do.

  • I think that it's important for the episodes to be shown to civilians. Civilians should see what we go through out at sea. It's a hard life to leave family and friends. We fought for our country and don't get full acknowledgement, as we should. Go Navy! And go Navy families and supporters!

  • If anyone is interested, there is the "Persian Gulf": surrounded by Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The "Arabian Sea" is larger, and is surrounded by Somalia, Yeman, Oman, the SE tip of Iran, Pakistan, and India before widening into the "Indian Ocean". All of you should look at a map, for chrissakes.

  • If the Captain of the ship says it's the Arabian Sea, it must be! So get a grip......move on!

  • All The Thing That I've Done By The Killers

  • no the one that starts like "its a long way to paradise" or something?

  • I think it's called "haze dray and underway" or something

  • what song plays during the title screen

  • 0038

    is that a ciggaret!?!?

    LOL

  • After three years, I like to think Nimitz has improved from what we watched here. Hope that smart nuke officer is still aboard and all those no loads are off, including those non-stop boltering pilots. Only 6 port calls? I recall 9 on my Connie cruises. Also, don't forget to check for sailors and sailorettes humping at night in a COD in a hanger bay!!!

  • from what I've been able to find out ,the Connie never seamed to have a stellar safety record since its days being built at the shipyard and including all its time in service.

  • lol. You sound like a jealous E3 whining because chose Nimitz over Connie for the film. Get over it.

Those Smart nuke officers are still there with the next generation fresh out of school. She just went through a refit and trials before that deploy.

/don't whine. You make it sound like you miss your chief tucking you in at night.

  • what is your problem shipmate! it's the personnel such as yourself who create a hostile working environment with your trashy mouth and attitude.

  • USS CONSTELLATION CV-64/CAG 2 Navy was better on so many levels I don't know where to begin. I'll start with V-2 Division. Connie V-2 people kept themselves cleaner, PO's fired the CAT'S, quicker/tighter landing intervals, better hook running(more casual on Connie). Looks like Nimitz Gear Rats rereeve a PC the time-consuming way.

  • yeah yeah yeah,,,mumbo jumbo....if the Connies so great why is it history ?????????

  • if the Connie was so much better than the Nimitz, why is it History??????Jive talking.....

  • Thank you to all the people on the Nimitz and all of the people willing to risk their lives to afford us the freedom that we have. And SCREW all you whiny liberals that think we can just "talk things out" with the crazies around this world. I personally thank all of you with the courage to serve your country.

  • Chris got taken by a typical cruel, dumb American beotch. Dude, you're lucky. You have to pay, but you're free from THAT. Crooked-nose dude has a suprisingly hot Pinay wife. He picked well. No American chick that hot would have given him that support...too selfish and warped. Cool show. Glad to watch it in DTV. Anyone who expects these people to be perfect is an idiot. They seemed likeable to me, and aware of the stupidity of their current mission, except the brainwashed jock pilots.

  • I doubt the baby is his. When the show first started, he had just found out she was pregnant for a couple weeks. A baby doesn't start kicking and pushing his arms and legs out until it is much further along. I think the dumb witch found herself pregnant and the real boyfriend dumped her azz, then she decided to corner Chris and make him think he was the father. Then the boyfriend came back....so she dumped him, but wanted to keep him around just in case.

  • i could foretell its going to happen the same thing with me..that bitch was smiling at the last part! that got me so MAD! Chris were so doubtful but yet he remained optimistic that everything would go well when he gets back home after his deployment...

  • This is such an awesome show. I've only been only able to catch a couple episodes but it was very well made. Very objective coverage of life on a carrier. Support PBS folks, to keep this good stuff coming.

  • Chris the expectant father, get a DNA test. The baby might not be yours!

  • after watching this i didn't realize that there were so many stupid people serving, everyone is always whining and complaining, mostly the younger people.

  • At least they are serving. They are not just complainers. You need to grow up, and perhaps you could serve on an aircraft carrier. However, perhaps your personality is so bad that your shipmates will toss you overboard......just joking!

  • call it whatever you like... call a table a chair if you like... why not call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of Taxas...

it IS the Persian Gulf... period...

all of you flag waving patriots nowadays...

    you all make me laugh...

looking for heroes on an aircraft carrier...

why don't you all just watch the movie and keep the all the noise to a minimum...

  • That would be Gulf of Texas.

  • Is the CMC still in the Navy? Or did he retire too?

  • OMG What happened to Phil.......he disappeared in Aussieland. The saga continues about the expectant father Chris. I hope things work out, but if they didnt, you still have a right to see your child Chris.

  • yes, what DID happen to Phil???? Did he go AWOL? did he get made to "disapear"? Who, knows?

  • Lets hope he is safe, I emailed his friend and he told me, "you have to wait". I am sure tonight we'll find out

  • he showed up again later :)

  • I know he was there to greet Christian G. when the ship arrived back in California. But, did he show up again before that?

  • I don't think so. But at least it was a relief to know he didn't dissapear "from the face of the earth" like his friend had feared.

  • I hope the young man named Chris who has the pregnant girlfriend that everything worked out ok. It sounds like she wasn't writing to him that perhaps she was losing interest, or that her father was talking her out of it.

  • It may be trivial compared to the subject but I love this song. It actually is a good fit.

  • Also, I respect the 'grunts' tremendously as well, they do a tough, courageous, and invaluable job. Just want to point out that you should probably consult with all of the grunts who's lives have been saved by timely close air support and see what they think about pilots when their butt is on the line before exposing your ignorance to the rest of the world.

  • Couldn't resist a response to all the "good job bombing a wedding party cracks" If you are anti-war, fine thats your opinion. Civilians die in wars in greater numbers than military personnel, they always have, they always will, its the nature of war. So blame the people who started the war, not the professionals or work their butts off every day to keep civilian casualties as low as possible.

  • Proud to be an American

  • I remember this day, it was hard to leave the wife, now I think it was the greatest day now that I'm divorced. That Deployment back in 2005 was long and ruff.

I was in the reactor department, too bad it was off limits, you would be able to see some cool stuff. In this series you see people playing cards or boxing, down in the engine room we had the engine room olympics. The reel fun of westpac 2005 was down in the engine room.

  • Awesome show GO NAVY!

  • I really like the Master Chief on the USS Nimitz. He seems to be very caring about the crew members and a fine upstanding person. He is a great example for the crew. I hope my son's is just as good. Well, I think he is, however have never met him. He came to visit my son when he was in the ship's hospital when he was injured on the job.

  • It's nice to see this, seems like when you tell someone you were in the Navy they think you had a easy job. It's not easy, I spent a lot of time off the coast of vietnam, naval gunfire support for the Marines. it was hard word, bringing on ammo, standing watch in combat information center, call for fire missions coming in, very little time for sleep.

  • Exactly, at times my son works 20 hour days. He is in the flight deck crew, and he is constantly running and in harms way.

  • This documentary is really great. I joined the Navy and leaving for boot camp in July. It gives me a real insight of the challenges and experiences I may face.

  • whats date are you leaving Im leaving on July 30th.

  • I have watched 1-4 so far. This is fabulous. There truly are mostly great people, but there were a few bad seeds. The Sexual Harrassment Counselor was totally creepy, and I bet that was not the first time he took advantage of a subordinate. I'd say he was a sexual preditor. Also, the kid that was the racist. He really had problems, and the navy was smart to discharge him. He kept using his family as an excuse, but he could have changed. Lots have.

  • Yeah, that's the thing about the military, well any large group of people in general, no matter what the profession. You will have your bad seeds. When you have 5000+ people on one ship, not all of them are going to be on the straight and narrow.

  • Yes and with time I think the Navy finds out about them and removes them.

  • reply to meepitt's comment is between the parenthesis ( ) was it blank inside the parenthesis? that's because when I am fighting the enemy I do not have time to lose trying to convince team members that 'some are putting their left shoes on their right feet...

  • Wow. a creepy sexual predator and he was a sexual harassment counselor? thatst really really bad. who hired him? is'nt he supposed to have a psychological evalutation first?

  • He had a degree in Psychology, and the Navy before this incident thought he was going to get promotions and thought the world of him. But, he took advantage of an E-3 while on Liberty. She had been drinking, which was her error. I bet she wasn't the first time it happened though. Now, he will never get promoted again and was removed from his position. I think he is a dirty dog. I'm glad that the Navy found out about him. But, I feel sorry for the girl, took advantage of her....poor thing.

  • Also, in the film where he is on extra duty, he turns around and grins at the victim, like he is so immature thinking that was funny! Icky!

  • this video really touched me especially since i have my fiance on the uss george washington, and he's gonna be gone for a while.. being prior service myself for the marines i know first hand the feeling of missing and being missed.. my heart and prayers go out to everyone in the armed forces and for the families that wait and pray for themto come home safely.. god bless

  • Hi, my son is going to be on the USS George Washington after the bridge crossing in Hawaii. He is currently on the USS Kitty Hawk. I hope you wed and are able to go to Japan as well.

  • the Kitty Hawk is very well known Carrier and a great one at that. Hoorah, we're proud of your son.

  • Everyone here's talking about defending their country, except these mercs are stationed off of someone else's country with overwhelming force, supporting a jackboot invasion. People are college-age and talk about getting educated, but I see there aren't any polisci or history of American imperialism classes being offered on board. When it comes to courage, the infantry leaves them in the dust. These guys support the air heros who kill innocents from comfort, like drive-by gangbangers.

  • So Move MOFO

  • Actually, I can and may, if this country wants to keep wasting my tax dollars on country-clubber started resource wars instead of investing in the technological advantage we USED to have. We have lots of uneducated brutes that we can put in service for the global corporate enforcement army that we've become. I assume you do know we're no longer fighting wars for ourselves, but THEM. By the way, I admire this show and the carrier itself, but this is REALLY far from a dream career, seriously...

  • This show inspires a lot of opinions. First off, I like the grunts way more than the pilots. The pilots have taken the koolaid 100%, although many are in it for the flying, and who can blame them? I'd like to ask one of these highly brainwashed spears of democracy how do they feel about killing an entire wedding party, which they've done many times in Afghanistan?

You guys tell yourselves its not your fault, but it is. You are one small step above murderers, never forget it. Yokel killer clan.

  • I love these people who go out and do this for the rest of us in America. And I am all for burning the OBLs of the world, but let's face it, our people should be back home with their families by now, training or whatever else they do in peace time. We need a strong military in today's world. I'm not sure continued deployment in the Iraq war gets us that. The political "leadership" in the US does not deserve the power that all these dedicated military personnel allow them to wield.

  • Thanks god i enlisted in The Marines, i watched the first episode last night. The seaman are irresponsible, annoying, complainers. All they were doing was bitching, it really looks like a high school. Damn i was so close to joining the navy.

  • alexman18 did you notice that only a few were complaining.. and that the show concentrated on them.. the other 5000+ must not have been interesting to the editor. When you have that many people you are going to have some malcontents in the group.

  • Talk to some of our World War II American

carrier warriors before we lose them all.

  • A special shout out to the men and woman from Lemoore flying high on their F18 Hornets

  • when the war is ove it will cost aprox 1trillion dollars...... and our economy will be in the thank. thanks MR>Bush, Channey..

  • the American life; priceless

  • 99% of danger on a carrier is from accidents, its also in a battle group ,so its protected by the outer rings of the battle group ships like frigates, destroyers and support vessels..the risk,to navy personal onboard from hostiles ,while rare ,is mainly to frigates .destroyers etc when they are away fron the battlegroup and alone,,the Cole is a classis example to the average sailor the carrier is the mall in

I did 2 different tours to the Persian gulf on 2 different ships FTG2 PARTIN USN

  • very very nice video very touching

  • Friggen awesome!

  • hey its PERSIAN GULF

you didnt study ? hah ?

even a 7 years old children knows about that

  • See that combat cdp change tucked away in there? Ordies can ooh-rah all they want - without ABEs that's just one big barge.

    looking forward to this series.

  • I understand this ship had the opportunity to have exercises with the USS Kitty Hawk......BRAVO!

  • I was once a resident of San Diego. I used to love it when I used to sit at the Embarcadero and watch the Navy ships leave port. I still remember like it was yesterday when the USS Constellation left port for the last time to go into retirement; I cried. I rode my bicycle over to Mission Beach just to watch her go out into the ocean and sail away into memeory.

God Bless all of the military everywhere!

  • for the record. we dont buy oil from Iraq. thank you

  • Exactly, the oil of Iraq was saved for the Iraqis, and living on the west coast of the USA, our oil doesnt come from the middle east.

  • Arabian Gulf Dont Exist the correct name is Persian gulf (khalij Al Farsi)

  • Well, it sounds like English is your second language as Farsi is your first. you probably didn't know that the word "Dont" is not proper to use there. You should have used the word "Doesn't" or "Does Not".

  • I served on the USS Carl Vinson and just seeing this ad makes me want to watch and revisit the good and bad times aboard the same kind of boat that was my home for an long 9 months. Go Navy!

  • an aircraft carrier is a ship, not a boat

  • And the king of all ships.

  • What brave heroes they are, flying off to protect America's access to the Middle East's hydrocarbons.

Shit. It must take tremendous courage to fly into uncontested airspace and bomb a wedding party.

  • sailing, not flying, it is a ship, then once at sea, the air group joins them

  • Probably not as much courage as it takes to criticize from the protected safety of your little world

  • I do apologize for the ugly tone of my original message.

After all, I'm sure the vast majority of servicemen and servicewomen joined the military in good faith, genuinely believing that they would be deployed to protect their country.

But as it happens, the remark at 1:19 is rather ironic: "We're ready to do our country's business."

It's ironic because it's LITERALLY true! The US military has become as much a facilitator for US corporations as a protector of US citizens.

  • exactly a and Iraq had nothing to do with Terrorism. There was no Alqueda in Iraq until we opened it up to them and yet we neglect Afghanistan, which should have been finished years ago. This was for oil, if you watch old news clips, it is freaky how much they lied to get this war.

  • Yes they did. I can understand Afghanistan, and the US gave them plenty of warning, they knew the consequences, yet they still did not turn over Bin Ladin, and believe me, the govt knows where he is hiding. Our govt has given money to Pakistan to find him, which is nothing but a farse.

  • Wow, you are so ignorant! Don't harrass the wonderful young men and women who are serving the world's greatest nation in the world. They are brave, you are not!

  • They may well be braver than I.

However, I would still dispute just how much courage it really takes to pilot an airplane well out of reach of any weapons the enemy could conceivably possess, then drop a guided munition on somebody whose only crime was to take up arms against an occupier who invaded his home country under false pretexts.

  • Me too, can't wait. I'm a mother of a sailor on the USS Kitty Hawk, and i really feel the pain of the family members since i'm going thru that now.

  • cant wait for this series

  • PERSIAN GULF

there's over 3000 yrs of documented history refering to that water as Persian Gulf. Look up the UN documentations.

it is persian gulf / it is not arabian gulf

    thx

  • Look, there are many historical and popular nicknames for different locations. I am sure you must be IRANIAN since you took such offence to it. Maybe you could do something a bit more usefull, like keeping your friends from crossing over into Iraq and causing Kaos.

  • MomOfSailorOnUSSKH: Ummm... It's called the "Persian Gulf". Persia4ever was correct in stating that. There was no reason, what so ever, to have posted such an ignorant responce.

And before you go off on me, my family has a VERY long line of people who have served and died for America.

Just think before you post, is all I am saying.

  • Well, some people may call it by other names. And who are you, the name police? Why don't you just worry about things that are important instead of being such a nag.
