Where can you buy those light boxes with black thing with rulers and a paper holder. I asked someone a D-land but they didnt give me much detail.

I do believe that your referring to an "animation disk". Chroma Color still makes animation disk's however they will run you a pretty penny usually costing as much as 300-400$. There is another option which is getting an inking and painting disk which is the same just without rulers. It still has pegs either acme or round. If you run a search for "lightfoodltd" on google or "chromacolor" you'll be able to check them out :)

@jasminejones7 Its not that hard to draw Mickey. He's one of the simplest disney characters to draw. He's mainly composed to circles.

A good animator and/ or draftsman should be able to draw a facial view of Mickey Mouse in at least 20 seconds.

Of course we all know Disney animator Roy Williams could draw Mickey in 6 seconds.

No thunder stolen from you man, great illustration!! Besides drawing a full on facial shot of Mickey is harder than an 3/4.

It's about 90 percent accurate which is no where near good enough when drawing Mickey. There's a fine line between drawing mickey and mickeys down syndrome brother.

yeah dude - try to draw as much as you can! keep at it! keep a sketchbook and draw things from life too - people, animals, everything. maybe try to create your own characters as well.

Whoa, this guy had really put his own touch to Mickey. Mickey looks just a tad different than what you usually see. I love pointing out different artist's styles :) At the Animation Academy, I learned that the ears are about one half the size of the head, if that helps anyone with the proportions, aside from quaters and dimes. I learned how to draw mickey with sort of eyebrow thickness above the mask's eye curves. Like what you did with the nose. Anyways, good job. Nice, steady hand.
