I don't understand how anyone could stop liking horses either. I've been riding horses for 10 years and training them for 2 years. They never cease to amaze me.

There is always a wonder there... so mysterious and such a great bond. We are so close and yet so far from understanding these wonderful creatures. :) They are simply beautiful.

Some of the most abusive owners are back yard first time buyers who kill or injure their horse because they don't know what they are doing. Feeding carrots and apples is one way to twist a gut. Not knowing how to tie a horse up properly is another. Improper training techniques is another.

their manes are probobly short beacouse they are Quarter Horses and Quarter Horses are uasually bred for cow work or other western so some of their manes might be short so they can be shown...
