It's nasty alright. The swell is scary during low tide especially with high traffic. Looks like they're finally gonna widen it. Construction began in June. It's about time !!

How can you go No Wake thru 6 knot current? It would spit you back out where you came from before you can say "Boynton". During tides water rushes thru there at incredible speed, you need to be going full throttle with trim tabs up in order to have any control.

My boat stays in Boynton i gotta go out this inlet everyweekend, deffinetly a very tricky and nasty inlet to get in and out of.

That is one nasty inlet. Almost lost it
going in and out on several occassions especially when the "Mrs. Blueheron" was hauling ass through it.
