this song is awesome! great early 70s rock fer sure...also check out Dust, Sir Lord Baltimore, Cactus, Budgie, Bang, Hard Stuff, Atomic Rooster, Three Man army and of course the mighty..Uriah heep!
These guys were brilliant. Growing up in Sydney I got them to play at my school dance and they played Sweet Little 16 their way for my birthday. Nearly 40 years later I remember their rare talent but mostly how nice they were. Am I too old? Dave Tice, so beautifully spoken, had THE rock and roll voice.

Love Dave Tice and Buffalo! I was just a little kid in the 70's listening to my much older brothers music. Had they not been so (sexually) controversial in their day we would have seen more of them. Aussie metal rocks!
Awesome. '71 - this song goes toe-to-toe with anything Sabbath had done by then, and it goes to toe-to-toe with any heavy rock of the same ilk done since. Pete Wells was Rose Tattoo, easy enough to hear this coming through some subsequent Tattoo classics ... Long live Aussie Rock 'n Roll, Long Live Heavy Rock wherever it comes from ! :-)
For me the heaviest song ever done by an aussie band and close to being all time... i never took this off the pltter when i bought it in 1974.. is there live video of the band anywhere??
Great oz band , hard rock at its best , first 3 albums absolutely rock . deadforever my favourite , saw buffalo when they supported ritchie blackmores Rainbow at festival hall in the 70 's , great times and memories
Stoner rock as it should be!! And everyone check out The max Demian band!!! I bought and lp by them few days ago(1979)if you like bobby conn, fu manschu etc.. peace
great band, can anyone tell me how many records these guys put out? i actually have this one, very good guitar driven rock. everyone needs to checkout BLOOD OF THE SUN, kinda BUFFALO/DEEP PURPLE/MOUNTAIN/URIAH HEEP influenced rock.
Had the good fortune to see Buffalo in the mid 70's. One of the heaviest bands In Oz. Dave Tice was a powerhouse vocalist. Went on to The Count Bishops in the U.K.
Awesome album! This is one of my absolute ALL TIME FAVORITES! I am also a Black Sabbath collector, and a story rumours.. on an Tour Buffalo was the support act, and their shoiw was so fantastic that Ozzy don't want to come out because he thought they could not beat Buffalo's Performance...
Listen to Truth & Janey "No Rest for the Wicked", also a great 70s Hard Rock Album full of great tracks.
Soundgarden, does sound like a reminiscent of this band. The first time, I had listen to this album, I thought to myself too, Chris Cornell sounds exactly like the lead singer Dave Tice of this band.
i think the dude's voice actually makes him a sort of proto-Dave Wyndorf (Monster Magnet). great song, great album. nothing compares to 70's heavy rock (or krautrock)... cheers!
I will be ever grateful to those two dudes on the subway in Toronto today who brought up Kyuss and the fact that one should check out Buffalo, Volcanic Rock. If you're reading this.. thanks!
More great Aussie Heavy hardrock from Buffalos 2nd album from 1973. Its amoung the HEAVIEST things outhere Get it and get blown away! Checkout Buffalo on Myspace!
This is perfect and why are there only 35,007 view's?Lot's of people miss out on some great riff's from this very under-rated band..

For all the Buffalo fans out there. Dave Tice(the lead singer) has a blues rock duo called Tice&Evans.

they put out 5, but only the first 3 matter. their sound changed dramatically after their original guitarist left after the 3rd album.

The fact that this band is largely undiscovered is a testament to the average persons stupidity and general retarded-ness
wolfatnight 3 years ago 2
Exactly..but I wouldn't have it any other way! this kind of music belongs to us alone.
toecutterr6 3 years ago
do you not think it would be better if the entire world could share in how you feel about this? the experience you get listening 2 it?
irishsuperman333 3 years ago
It would be, but then it loses something. I'd rather keep relatively unknown bands that way.
