  • This is perfect and why are there only 35,007 view's?Lot's of people miss out on some great riff's from this very under-rated band..

  • this song is awesome! great early 70s rock fer sure...also check out Dust, Sir Lord Baltimore, Cactus, Budgie, Bang, Hard Stuff, Atomic Rooster, Three Man army and of course the mighty..Uriah heep!

  • that bass line is mesmerizing, pure, simple and clean. Gotta love the old school rock

  • These guys were brilliant. Growing up in Sydney I got them to play at my school dance and they played Sweet Little 16 their way for my birthday. Nearly 40 years later I remember their rare talent but mostly how nice they were. Am I too old? Dave Tice, so beautifully spoken, had THE rock and roll voice.

  • Epic .

  • Muito bom,muito bom mesmo!

  • Love Dave Tice and Buffalo! I was just a little kid in the 70's listening to my much older brothers music. Had they not been so (sexually) controversial in their day we would have seen more of them. Aussie metal rocks!

  • That was amazing. I think I just might turn up the volume and play it again.

  • not your dads dad music

  • For all the Buffalo fans out there. Dave Tice(the lead singer) has a blues rock duo called Tice&Evans.

  • @cjs195 thanks but.. that would be like listening to dax rigg's current band

  • reminds me of sabbath

  • this can be the only reason of life. best song ever;

anyone can tell how the lyrics go? I'm not English-speaking

  • this can be the only reason of life. best song ever

  • The perfect Heavy/Stoner Rock record

  • Awesome. '71 - this song goes toe-to-toe with anything Sabbath had done by then, and it goes to toe-to-toe with any heavy rock of the same ilk done since. Pete Wells was Rose Tattoo, easy enough to hear this coming through some subsequent Tattoo classics ... Long live Aussie Rock 'n Roll, Long Live Heavy Rock wherever it comes from ! :-)

  • Way back in the early 70s, these guys toured with Black Sabbath for a bit.

  • @MrDikketet I share your opinion. I ''felt in love'' of this album when i heard it for first time, and this song specially. Cheers from Colombia

  • For me the heaviest song ever done by an aussie band and close to being all time... i never took this off the pltter when i bought it in 1974.. is there live video of the band anywhere??

  • @MrSadsack56 , yeh Suzie Sunshine is on Youtube. Regards Colin.

  • Wow, you mean some asshole hasn't posted claiming the singer is his dad or such nonsense yet???

  • @Mality errr, Dave Tice is actually my sister.

  • This is ace.

  • fucking good song man ;D

  • all that grunge....well....this grunge? EVEN BETTER

  • thank you.

  • so so heavy,i feel like a lunatic on the grass

  • Awesomeness.

  • got this it's really heavy for it's time. these australians knew how to rock out.

  • @gwdad it's coz we're awesome! :D haha

  • Great oz band , hard rock at its best , first 3 albums absolutely rock . deadforever my favourite , saw buffalo when they supported ritchie blackmores Rainbow at festival hall in the 70 's , great times and memories

  • Thanks

  • Thanks for posting this. Been wanting to hear this for a long time. Gotta track down a copy.

  • Stoner rock as it should be!! And everyone check out The max Demian band!!! I bought and lp by them few days ago(1979)if you like bobby conn, fu manschu etc.. peace

  • WTF i can't believe this band were so overlooked.unfuckingbelievable,

My local record shop in Sydney is selling original vinyl albums by these dudes for 80 bucks each!

  • Which shop are you talking about?

  • The Vintage record, Parramatta rd Sydney

  • I paid £120 for my Volcanic Rock...that's $300 Aussie dollars

  • amphetamine basslines...really rough'n' raw

  • Oh dear, the poor man on the album cover has been knackered !

  • great band, can anyone tell me how many records these guys put out? i actually have this one, very good guitar driven rock. everyone needs to checkout BLOOD OF THE SUN, kinda BUFFALO/DEEP PURPLE/MOUNTAIN/URIAH HEEP influenced rock.

  • they put out 5, but only the first 3 matter. their sound changed dramatically after their original guitarist left after the 3rd album.

  • good point, toecutter6 - the masses don't fucking deserve it

    cheers...

  • The fact that this band is largely undiscovered is a testament to the average persons stupidity and general retarded-ness

  • Exactly..but I wouldn't have it any other way! this kind of music belongs to us alone.

  • do you not think it would be better if the entire world could share in how you feel about this? the experience you get listening 2 it?

  • It would be, but then it loses something. I'd rather keep relatively unknown bands that way.

  • Had the good fortune to see Buffalo in the mid 70's. One of the heaviest bands In Oz. Dave Tice was a powerhouse vocalist. Went on to The Count Bishops in the U.K.

  • Awesome album! This is one of my absolute ALL TIME FAVORITES! I am also a Black Sabbath collector, and a story rumours.. on an Tour Buffalo was the support act, and their shoiw was so fantastic that Ozzy don't want to come out because he thought they could not beat Buffalo's Performance...

Listen to Truth & Janey "No Rest for the Wicked", also a great 70s Hard Rock Album full of great tracks.

    Thanks for uploading!

  • I saw that concert in Sydney in about 1974. Buffalo were great but Black Sabbath were Black Sabbath.

  • listen the screaming trees cover

  • yeah c'mon stoner brothers sound totally stooned !!! great.

  • This is where Soundgarden got their sound. This band sounds exactly the same. ha ha ha

  • Funny listeneing to this i thought if Pearl Jam ..

  • the screaming trees were the only grunge band to ever cover a buffalo song, which is this one

  • Soundgarden, does sound like a reminiscent of this band. The first time, I had listen to this album, I thought to myself too, Chris Cornell sounds exactly like the lead singer Dave Tice of this band.

  • actually Tice and coverdale of deep purple are more like eachother, than the nasally powered cornell..

  • I THINK THAT TOO

  • @filmnoir2510

i think the dude's voice actually makes him a sort of proto-Dave Wyndorf (Monster Magnet). great song, great album. nothing compares to 70's heavy rock (or krautrock)... cheers!

  • @cangong Agreed! Definately a Proto-Dave, rather than a Proto-Chris

  • @filmnoir2510 I thought nearly the same ! Actually the singer makes me think about a 90s grunge singer, his voice would have fit pretty well !

  • Can almost smell the stale bong water..

  • This band is so underrated and this album is HEAVY!!!!!!!!!!Sick finding this on You Tube. Many thanks !!!

  • I will be ever grateful to those two dudes on the subway in Toronto today who brought up Kyuss and the fact that one should check out Buffalo, Volcanic Rock. If you're reading this.. thanks!

  • very hard, very cool!LOUDER!

  • these guys sure pwn led zeppelin :)

  • Anyone who can figure out the tabs for the bass riff that goes again and again? Trying to play it :)
