If winning an Oscar was solely based on an amazing trailer, then J.Edgar deserves one. I went to the theater full of expectations and was very disappointed on my way out. Aside from Leonardo's top-notch performance, the movie sucked on all levels. Terrible make up, corny lines and most of all, a choppy plot. It was really hard to follow this movie. I tried to so hard to find a date to go see it but ended up watching it on my own. I believe it was God's plan to save me from the embarrassment.

I mean, if you think about it, what evidence did they have to even do that entire fight/kiss scene in the hotel? They were the only two men in that room. So did the writers have evidence that led them to create that scene or was that Hollywood simply writing a story? Some historians say he was straight, some say he was gay. We'll never know

Even if Hoover was sexually attracted to other men, I am sure he was smart enough to keep it to himself. But what other reason would he have to deny the existence of the Mafia?
