THAT TAKES BRASS BALLS THE SIZE OF GRAPEFRUITS TO SAIL IN ONE OF THESE THINGS ACROSS THE NORTH ATLANTIC TO ANOTHER CONTINENT. TOTAL RESPECT TO THESE BADASS DUDES AND THEIR FAMILIES.
What ships have been found in Norway aside from the Gokstad and Oseberg burial ships? The reason why I ask is that these two are both early viking-period, whereas the Danish ships, especially the Skuldelev ships from Roskilde are from late viking-period. I'd like to know if any ships from later has been found in Norway.
That aside, I wonder if you are aware that eleven new wrecks were excavated in Roskilde when they expanded the museum, amongst them the biggest ever.

So I'm planning to build one of these ships this summer. Any ideas as how to make the planking bend at the bow and stern?

Here on the west coast of Sweden Göteborg. They have found many vikingships. We have two vikingships near the sea here. They are great to look at.
