yup 6 X 12 inside diamiter is 5'10" X 11'6" its 7ft tall at the inside peak. I now had it on the lake for 3 weeks and have a bunch of tip up video for the next you tube video. Lots of people have been checking it out on the ice with a lot of thumbs up. It sure is a lot of fun.
Awesome, If I can find an old camper I will consider doin the same thing. How does it tow? I live in the NE and sometimes need to travel on highways to fish different derbies. I guess if you construct it well I should be fine. Love the tunes! Good luck this year!
@beatman62301 The camper shack tows great. I took it for a spin about 10 miles and held 60mph for a good stretch and it was fine. I was a little nerveous at first but now that its parked in driveway I had a chance to go over shack and nothing went out of wack. Good luck and btw you can find pop ups for free a lot of people just want there rotten old camper out of there yard. Offer free pick up all they can say is no.
luv it sorry to say but i have an old trailer exactly like that one and am going to haft to steal ur idea rite down to the sillouetts way kool anything u would recommend i do different thanks matt
@1antlernut Yes make sure you square everything and also make sure you bolt the walls to the frame. I started with 8 and jumped it up to 16 becouse I was scared. Useing 8 did withstand my drive around the block but I feel way safer with more bolts. Also I would have changed the length of the wallsheets to drape over the frame so I could bolt the bottom of the sheeting to the frame also. But it is VERY stable now just a thought for the next project. Thanks for the response

How exactly do you drill your holes to fish in. Do you have something that marks them then drill then back the shack over them or how do you do it?

How big did the shack end up being? Aren't pop up frames like 6x12? I'm considering doing this in the summer....
