This in fact a couple of months before Jim died. He was in paris the first time looking for Pam who had run off with her `Count`. Jim spent some time travelling with friends here and Morrocco. He returned to L.A only to return to Paris months later WITH Pam......where he died.
@TheNoz007 Back in 1970, together with Agnes, Jim took the train to Chateau Chambord, to watch the shooting of Jacques Demy's film Peau D'Ane. None of the film crew there recognized him. Agnes still has a 3-minute film clip showing Jim sitting on the lawn at the shooting of the movie, having a chat with actress Catherine Deneuve and director Francois Truffaud.
Amazing. In 71 I was 11 and Doors-fan into the bones. "Me and my family" were driving through europe that summe without knowing Jim being in Paris. Later in the late seventies I went to the riviera and there were a few latenight shows where the doors film "A feast of friends " was shown. I watched it twice. The Doors wasn't particularly hot at that time and the film was worn. I guess it might have been the copy of the film that Jim himself brougth to Paris. Anyway nice to see this clip.
This was great to see. I do have a question on when this was filmed. Something does not make sense to me. On the newest DOOR movie "When You're Strange" It said that Jim moved to Paris and shaved off his beard and mustache. Also there are famous pictures of Jim and Pam in Paris and he has no facial hair.
Yet in this video clip you posted. He does have facial hair. That was his French friend .

@YouTime3 Morrison flew to Paris in March 1971 and he died July 3rd. So this had to taken place sometime during this period.
I am a huge fan of Jim's and put out of place things intrigues me. Jim is wearing a Jacket or sweater of some sort. His friend is wearing LONG sleeves. So this is a guess, but I would say this was taken in March or April. The Paris photo link I posted. Shows him wearing not as warm clothes. If this happened in May. Would he not have on short sleeves?
