I literally learned to sing belting it out with Janna and Jody over my car stereo. They've had more influence on my singing than any other vocalists. Ever.

A few years ago I got tired of the super-shiny sound the producers give to contemporary Christian music and it's been a while since I followed Avalon like a hardcore fan, so I'm just now learning about this. God bless you, Jody.

I was very blessed to have met Jody, Melissa, Janna and Greg and they are awesome people. Jody was a great part of this awesome, God gifted group and he continues to be in my prayers. Dear Friends,

Well, after much prayer and consideration I have decided to depart Avalon early. When I returned to the doctor in June and found out that my disease had spread both Stephanie and I felt that leaving early was now the right decision.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has given me the chance to experience this amazing and meaningful chapter of my life.

I saw that like 20 minutes ago and seriously felt like I was about to cry. It's so hard to imagine Avalon without him. Now Janna is the only original member left. I hear the new guy they got is really good.
