lucas' new novel is about a scientist and a comet who when he first sees the comet, he decides to wait for the rest of his life until he sees it again.. turns out the comet he is referring to = peyton (her car is a comet) so thats why Lindsay/Lucas don't get married + its LINDSAY who says no - nanny carrie comes into the picture by making jamie play a game and dan ends up saving jamie in a hotel from carrie [he followed them when they left the church]
