No, wait I think I messed up my frame data. According to the old data, after a tatsu sakura should be at -6 and she was able to stick out a jab which starts up in 3 frames, but the jab hit during Rose's invincible frames (you can see it if you pause it), so I'm not sure how I would interpret this. It looked like it hit almost instantly but that would be stupid to have some kind of reversal like ultra.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when does the startup animation begin in an ultra? Is it before the fancy freeze animation or after it? If it is after it, doesn't this make Rose's ultra good to punish with if someone is right in front of you and say messes up on a link? Her ball started up right on sakura. Most ultra's have dub digit startup and I doubt sakura is at a neg dub digit disadvan. after her tatsu, but Rose was able to pun it.

The Rose player may not have been acquainted with her new ultra either. It does good enough damage for two little balls. It also seems to combo better than it seems; you may be able to pull some real BS off with it. It seems to also be a good GTFO pinch move.

Rose's second ultra should help her tremendously defensively. Rose has excellent footsies but when she gets stuck in a vortex (i.e. Akuma) theres not much an EX soul spiral can do to get out of it.
