To Ironweevil...I think you are anal....lmao I suppose hooking the Carp in the mouth with a sharp hook don't count as far as wounding the fish or causing it harm...or God Forbid - Pain!!!! OH MY GOD, YOU USED A HOOK TO CATCH THAT CARP!!!! LOL, You need something else to do other than worry about how I land my fucking fish. Carp are an invasive species in the particular river we are fishing... I knew someone that used to slit their bellies and throw them back in for the Turtles.....so, CHILL OUT!
All I can say is that if your too cheap to invest in summin that preserves the well being of the fish, well , in my book, thats madness. They can be all of like four quid sometimes so thats not really an excuse. Might be all well and good on grass but what happens when you got to unhook a 30lb fish on stone and gravel?
