Staples doesn't always have low prices. I was just there today looking for a ledger journal. THIRTY DOLLARS. I can't beleive that. But, they can also have low prices too. I saw one - hole punchers for ONE DOLLAR upfront. Packs of sticky notes were FREE, after the easy - rebate. Unluckily, I wasn't looking for hole punchers or sticky notes. Our city's locally - owned office store has better prices than staples. This is because of no need for large scale advertising.

Last year, my dad went to Staples. He saw a bunch of teenagers in front of there, and thwy were like, "LET'S DO IT! :D" My dad was like, "What are they doing? O_o" A few minutes later, he heard, "WOW THAT'S A LOW PRICE..." It was the teenagers. XD They got kicked out minutes later :'(

its situational really... the thing that makes staples cheeper is the rewards programs and specials they run (i do work for staples for the record) for example, theres one going on right now for instant 30$ off on norton 360 antivirus if you have a rewards card, plus theres an easy rebate on it aswell, dont remember exactly what it is though... in the end you end up only paying like 20$ for a 70+$ software.... oh and theres this great deal on a certain paper, like 10 bucks for 5 reams
