I´ve had the pleasure of hearing her live in Aida and Traviata several times. The recording cannot capture completely the emotion she transmits to the audience. I´m looking forward to see her again live, until then, THANKS for the nice video postings with her.
I dont find this a beautiful voice! but for me this is not what all opera is about, its more the personality the voice convays. This is the first clip on here that made me sit up and notice and think "wow id love to see her on stage"- thats not a throw away comment like so many on here- Its a voice of old school technique which means the voice does not have to be the most beautiful around to convey the musics message. Beautiful is boaring !!!
I was there as dresser and it was the first time I see an opera in live. It was so beautiful, she has a wonderful voice and she is touching when she plays (she is also very nice ^^, I've talked with her some seconds).
I am happy that she will come back in Sanxay in august for some concerts during "Les soirées lyriques" ^^
this is the first time i hear and see here, and have to say she does have a very appealing voice, you're so blessed to have had the privilege to have met her. this is one of my bert arias out of ll trovatore... i'm sure she's gonna make it big. thanks to the person that posted this video, i'm starting my research on Roxana right now:)
Roxana is never less than breathtaking. All those easily attained high pianissimi remind me of the young Caballe. Roxana's trill is serviceable, whereas Caballe did not really have a trill. Roxana's amazing breath control is also similar to Caballe's. I hope that Roxana can resist the heavy roles and not be another casualty of misplaced ambition.
In her latest sensational role debut, the great Romanian soprano Roxana Briban reveals not only her superb voice, but also her strong artistic personality! She creates a very special Leonora using her divine, floating pianissimos! Her voice is versatile and a precious gift for any opera lover! Hope to hear her as Leonora in the greatest opera houses of the world! Bravissima!!!

It sounds indeed fantastic. Such a shame she doesn't trill in the Mefistofele though :( I mean, it's not really a trillo...
