isnt it that someone thought it was light so another scientist proved him wrong and said if it was light then the magnet wouldnt affect it? rutherford and i thinkk someone else i just learned about it in science class
Just a comment to the description: Negatively charged electrons? As far as I know, there are not neutrally charged or positively charged electrons. If an atom is negatively charged, it's because there are more electrons than protons. Electrons are the negative charge in anything.
ok if we use a cathode ray tube wid a perforated anode and coat the ending of the tube behind the anode with fluoroscent material such as zinc sulphide then whenever a particle from the cathode ray goes throught the perforations it emits a glow...the same principle was used in making crt amusement device
I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING!!!! lol Overreacting but really good to see an experiment actually being carried out then just to read about it and picturing it in your head 8S
So this is like first ''video game'' made back in 1447...

cathode ray tubes are used in tv screens and what
aoknum8 2 years ago
I've done this with old TVs, and "magic Eye" level meter tubes, as they are cathode ray tubes. It can permanently magnetize a color TV tube tho.

There are positively charged electrons, they are called positrons. Google "antimatter".
