I like you music, very good melodic stuff!! May I ask how you come up with the song parts?

What's the songwriting process like?

Do you improvise parts as a whole and build up the song like that or do you record short fragments like one or two bar phrases and build up everything bar by bar?

My problem is that I can't put my ideas into a song form, it sounds just chaotic and random.

So would be great to get some infos about your writing process.

@intermediate007 Thanks for the post. That's a tough question because each song is different for me. Sometimes its just a riff with a beat and I just take it from there. Other times I have a melody in my head and try to make it into a song. I actually even have 1 song that I improvised the whole melody and chorus beginning to end on 1 take. It really varies

Anch'io sono arrivato a questo chitarrista sconosciuto grazie a "Ricciardo" Benson. Devo dire che 'sto Nagaoka tecnicamente é un grande, ma il problema é che ormai di chitarristi così ce ne sono a bizzeffe, cioé non hanno un loro stile o un sound personale.. lo confonderesti con mille altri chitarristi!

Malmsteen, Gilmour, Hendrix, Vai, Blackmore, Clapton, ecc.. pur nella loro diversita' sono veramente dei grandi perché li riconosci alla prima nota!!

L'ho conosciuto da vicino negli states e devo dire ke è un bel pallone gonfiato.....ad un tizio ke voleva un autografo sulla sua kitarra scrisse This guitar sucks ridendo...del resto steve vai è un ottimo tecnico ed un genio in inventiva,ma nessuno di loro diventerà mai come David Gilmuor o Eric Clapton =)
