  • Even though the video was very amusing you should not use a 1w laser to play with a cat. You should get a 1mW laser

  • OMG SO CUTE BUST SNUGLE BUST PLAY WITH CHTC=CANT HANDLE THE CUTNEES ########## ps ur a cat man...

  • ui ... tội nghiệp con mèo ... ^^

  • my cat died hahahahaha thumbs up if you hate cats

  • you are an asshole how about i tie you up and make stare at the laser

  • @ThePalladium111 it's not a very powerful laser, the kitten was not in any danger.

  • lol thats one way to keep a cat from going fat

  • what a moron

  • @theapothem1 Thanks!

  • fuck cats

  • Update on this video: the kitten died 2 days later from burned retina exposure.

  • @Rodrizona Actually not, 2 days later he was fine and happy, but a couple of weeks later he ran away and sadly he never returned. I collect many stray cats and feed many other street cats, and still I get sad on each one that's gone...

  • @OhadAlmagorOhad Update on this video: the kitty didn't ran away, instead the kitten was blinded by the laser and walked off into the abyss, not able to find its way home....

  • aww cute kitten

hope the laser was eye safe

  • That kitten has no idea how lucky it is to see such a rare wavelength like that.

  • sometimes i wonder what goes through animals minds

  • This is VERY irresponsible. You could EASILY damage the cats eyes. You could also easily damage your eyes. People like you shouldn't have anything to do with lasers. Lasers are fine pet toys, provided that they are low power. Nothing over 5mW, preferably 1mW.

  • By the way... any laser above 20mW can burn out the retinas in most living thing's eyes. The kitten is cute, but I don't think it's a bright idea to use something that could make the kitten blind.

Use a 1mW laser next time.

And tip: Don't look at the laser when there's a reflective floor. It could reflect into YOUR eyes and blind you.

  • This isn't a kitten, it's a laser-guided military bot!

  • Lets stop argueing and just admire how cute the kitten is

  • You expose your self to the same risk as the kitten? So you stare at the dot from less than a foot away and chase after it where it could accidentally hit you in your under developed, over sensetive eyes? I think not... Personally I think it's stupid. If you want to use a laser to play with a kitten, get a 1mW pointer. Not a $500 laser that might as well be laboratory grade...

  • Let's agree to disagree.

  • I still think it's stupid. If you want to show of the Spartan, make a time tunnel or something where people can see the gorgous pules in action. Not playing with a kitten, it's dumb and irresponsable.

  • This is quite possibly the most irresponsable thing I've ever seen. Why they sold you this laser is beyond me...

  • Do you even have a slight understanding of lasers and their risks?

    Obviously not...

I suggest next time you read and gain some knowledge before making a stupid comment.

  • Erm, yeah, douchebag. 20mW is very powerful, especially for a growing kitten who's eyes aren't fully developed... Also, this laser is pulsed with a 50-50 duty cycle, which makes it more dangerous that a constant wave laser as it outputs more power per pulse (40mW in this case). But, you're so smart I guess you already know this...

  • this is gay

  • not

  • אחי זה עבר את המכס???????????

  • כן אח שלי, למה שלא יעבור?????????

  • WOOOOOOOOOWW ..wat a cuteee cat..very cute cat..nc blue spartan laser mannn.and VERY ecxsellent videooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!well done

  • I don't know how a cat eye is, but our retina is orange/red so it does absorb the lower wave lengths better. So a green or blue laser of the same power as a red will do more damage, and faster.

That's why, say green, looks a lot brighter than red.

Just be careful. Cute kitty too. :)

  • a one time shine in the eye will make that kitty blind. those blue and green lasers are dangerous for the eyes. cute kitten tho. im sure you take care of it.

  • Blue and green lasers are exactly as dangerous as red, they are all coherent light in different wavelengths.

The danger is determined by the laser power, in this case a 20mW laser, which is low enough for the eye reflex to shut it before any damage is made.

Still I would never shine it to anyone's eye, I'm very cautious with it.
