Great tutorial! I was able to complete this project easily, but now when I click on 'edit' in the fill and stroke menu, my edit menu won't come up. Did I change a setting or something? How do I fix this? Thank you^^ Keep making great tuts^^

Though I'm completely new to inkscape and vector graphics I could suggest you to use the "View and edit XML three..." to select elements that are hard to select manually.

Another awesome tutorial. I especially liked the trick of giving the blurred shine on the border a gradient. I wonder if it's possible to change the shape of the text so it looks like it's curved on top of the convex surface.
