  • epic out of context lulz.

  • to the batcave

  • Kira: " Chief, wait..."

    OBrien: "When?"

    This one actually made sense.

  • Darmok, her breasts wide open!

no seriously, I don't get the flaming about ds9 and this episode. language can be a pain somethings :D!

  • @airwolfman lol

  • I always liked this episode

  • I always felt that ops elevator was a bit of a fire hazard.

  • Rave on let a man come out of Ireland

    Rave on on Mr. Yeats,

Rave on down through the Holy Rosey Cross

Rave on down through theosophy, and the Golden Dawn

Rave on through the writing of "A Vision"

Rave on, Rave on, Rave on, Rave on, Rave on, Rave on

  • "Chief, wait!"

    "When?"

  • Well, it would be serious in real life. Just think about it... trying to say something meaningful and silly nonsense would just come out and everybody would laugh at you. Not very funny then, huh? Though the clip is pretty hilarious.

  • Aren't the turbo lifts voice activated?

  • Try switching him off and on again.

  • When I first saw this episode, I assumed the problem was with the universal translator. Creating a virus to screw up the universal translator seemed a hell of a lot more plausible than a virus to rewire the brains of a hundred different species.

  • obrien: wanna troll bitch.. ill show you how to do it.

  • Anyone else think O'Brien has ate some of those Rowntrees Randoms sweets? :')

  • "Major, lark's true pepper."

That's what I always say when someone's being disingenuous and yanking my chain.

  • OMG.

    watch?v=vZ5P6RUvbVM

  • CBS grammy reporter anyone?

  • Ha, they should have had his character talk like this all the time.

  • What I climed the fountain. Prayer is not unlike the prominent timelapse, within the former king. YELLOW POPPIES?!?! Forget time lake swelling in the Frame of an eye post....(calling is know really when/forgery) I take apples, foreigners, waste, climbers, ever qwell the mighty frost. Hell and frontline tortoise pleasing? Shoes!!!

  • When I watched this episode the first time, I kept wondering if all these lines were improvised....or if they actually wrote them out in the script? Anyone know the answer....I don't know why but I'm really curious about this one.

  • @frankensteinmoneymac I think they wrote it out...I seem to remember a comment about practicing it so that they get the "inflection" right, so it sounds like they are talking and making sense even though the context is meaningless.

  • @kamwrites Huh, thats pretty cool. Makes sense too. They did a really good job of making it sound like they were making sense (to themselves at least). Trying to just talk like that off the top of my head and getting it to sound right is not an easy thing to do. Still I would have loved to be the one to write out that Dialog! LOL!

  • @thebuckrogers22 I don't remember them ever calling him a Chef?!?! Did he ever cook anything???

  • @frankensteinmoneymac not chef, i meant chief and u knew it smart ass

  • @thebuckrogers22 Now your assuming that I'm smart! (and that I have an ass) Only one of these facts is true! Guess which one!

  • How did the lift know where to take him? Unless the reverse harbor is real XD

  • Didn't they do the same thing in batman beyond?

  • I love Miles, i would run away with him LOL

  • "Major Lark's true pepper!"

    LOL

  • he did a good job of talking crap

  • "reset gleaming" lol.

    just watched this yesterday.

  • *inhale* Bread?

  • "Dinner to book..."

    "Cheif, wait!"

    "When!"

    lmao hilarious.

  • "Chief, wait!"

    "When?"

    lol

  • loved odo in this episode.

    Sisko: *gibberish*

    Odo: Oh, I see....

    *gibberish*

Odo: Yeah, tell me about it....

  • Human Homsar!

  • "Flame the dark true salt!"

Ya know, the cast actually had to learn all that gibberish line by line, it wasn't enough to just say whatever they pleased.

  • I don't know why they couldn't just do that.

I mean, "Major Lark's true pepper" makes as just sense as "Purple monkey dishwasher"

  • Move see cat window starship keyboard! UYUYUY

  • Well, O'brien never was very bright. He just forgets from time to time.

  • Victory strike limit flame the dark troop salt. Waylink complete... WAYLINK!!!

  • never seen that episode, what is it called

  • Chief becoming schizophrenic, maybe?

  • why cant i see the video

ANYONE UP? I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO Uw

  • LOL, I wonder what 'winner to bug' meant.

  • Dinner to bug.

  • LOL! "stevenc123" is acting like OBrian ;)

  • This is what happened when they tried to replace the script writers with a random word generator.

  • Pity there was no Trek during the writers' strike.

  • looks like his universal translator broke down lol

  • "Chief, wait!"

    "When?"

    lmao at that moment.

  • HAHA yeah Chief wait! when ?

  • Aphasia.

  • "FUCK THIS I'M OFF FOR A GUINNESS."

  • Hahaha!

  • LMAO

  • What wierdo.

  • I think he was speaking Irish.

  • @KaiXi333 No he is not speaking Irish Gaelic.

  • @zipsrule Gee, do you think?

  • @KaiXi333 I didn't realize you were being sarcastic.

  • @KaiXi333

No, but it would had been pretty funny if he started speaking Irish.

  • That was a superb performance! You could almost hear the words he was trying to say underneath the babble.

  • O'Brien really doesn't appreciate the occasional jibe at his expense.

  • See kids this is what happens when you experience with LSD.

  • Lol when I read that I almost spit out the soda I was drinking.

  • Very good episode actually.

  • LoL... That's some awesome acting.

I think O'Brien might be speaking Irish.

  • Bí i do thost. Amadán!

  • HAng on, he is Irish. Isn't he?

  • Yes he is... hahaha

  • Well there you go, that explains it then. lol

  • WTF?? LOL, I don't remember that episode. Ultra bad acting segment too. Why was he talking like that? lol.

  • It's in the first season...I think...

  • He's talking like that because of some bajoran virus...

  • Yeah, actually it was pretty good acting, it was some something virus that mixes up what you associate words with and eventually kills you.

  • I should rewatch that episode

  • He's talking like that because a virus caused him to have Wernicke's aphasia (a real speech disorder), you can look it up in Wikipedia.
