  • Which mode should i use for GoKarting? Plus when im in r3 mode its sped up instead of slowmotion.

  • 960p??!!??!?!!¡!!!!¿

  • if i was going to mount the hdhero2 to my car bonnet, which setting should i use? 1080 30fps or 720 60fps, i did do ti with the 1080 30fps but it was a bit blurry/pixalated?

  • I personally do all my footage at 720 @60 fps. Not just for better stills from individual frames when its slowed down, Its very hard to see and you need a keen eye but 720 30fps isnt as smooth as it is at 60 fps at real time. Dependent on the lighting conditions and many other factors...I wouldnt reccomed and but 720 @ 60fps. Just from hours of my time and my personal expiences....theres no other way to go!

  • Man! I wish our New Years Day was that nice, we just get gray skies and rain in the UK, very miserable! Last thought; seems to me that any higher resolution is best suited on your computer/TV as it's lost on youtube. 1080 is physically bigger picture than 720 but when its down sized on youtube there's no real benefit. So long as the video is rendered best format for youtube they are all almost the same. Just my view!

  • Having played around with my GoPro over the last week I've been quite happy at 720 @ 30fps. I've read that 60fps on youtube is not real benefit because youtube reduces it down you 30 anyway? Only good for slow motion then. 1080 when play back is changed from default 360p to 1080p seems like it's struggling, seems to lose it's smoothness. 720 @ 30 is nice widescreen, 960 just gives you the height if you need it! Thanks for posting!

  • personally I like the 720p @ 30 fps and the 960p. The 1080p although it might seem more natural it kind of gives you the impression that it zooms in, but that's just me.

  • @winter8addict I agree because when it looks zoomed in it makes it look blurry aswell. What mode from your experiance should i use for GoKarting?.

  • i liked the 960 because you can see the bike and the road good, and the 1080 for normal shooting

  • is this all one camera different settings or is it all different cameras?? pls reply

  • @jamestwdm Just one camera - lots of different settings.

  • @PRSPlayer which camera the 1080 or the 960 wearable??

  • @jamestwdm1080p - The HD motorsports hero

  • @PRSPlayer cool ty sub sub?

  • i know 60 fps is frames per second but what does it basically do ? (beginner here lol)

  • @peacetea1001 Basically since 30 is standard, 60 is recording twice the number of frames/images per second. Works out really well to capture things happening really fast(like sports) and makes the image a lot clearer when its slowed down

  • "wish the 1080 had 60fps"

    Same here......

Sweet video. Thanks for the comparisons between all the modes!!!

  • i like the natural angle of the 1080p. the 720s are too fisheyed. wish the 1080 had 60fps.

  • @jasoncreek

Yes same here, 960P is even worse. Too bad youtube doesn't support 60 FPS yet..

  • Man this looks sharp! Maybe someday I'll cave and get the GoPro...

  • my question is this: Does the GoPro HD camera make you ride harder?
