And what happens if the OS software on your hardrive is corrupted with a virus which made it crash in the first place??

If you make a complete clone wont that same virus corrupt your new hardrive if you make a clone on the new hardrive?

@4theforce I know this is a really late reply, but this does NOT clone the Operating system, just your programs and files. It's probably best if you remove the virus though, because it's probably hooked on to one of your files and if you transfer it to a new drive, it's going to mess up from the start.

Lame video. Not very informative. They don't say why this would be better than any other drive cable adapter/bridge, they don't give a run down of how to use the software that comes with the Apricorn, they don't talk about how external drive enclosures are better because they protect the hard drive and they don't talk about free software alternatives like Easeus Partition Master Home. Nothing about this review was improved by it being video--it would have been better/faster as just a text review
