If the original song was sung before 1995 then Mumbai Movie theme is copied other wise it is the other way round,,

But maybe its this improvisations by atif that has somehow made it resemble that theme, because being an ardent AR Rahman fan, i can never believe that he has copied any of his material.

Atif is a very very talented singer and the quality of his sound /voice is very strong..and different.. it is not like the traditional style of singing and that is why it is charming.. I have heard him live and he is very strong even on acoustics..However here his vocals are doctored to a great extent but then that is the format for Coke Studio..Great production though..

I love "Kuch is Tarah" by Atif Aslam. I heard him first in Pehli Nazar. But after that I heard a few songs in which his voice shook a lot. After hearing this song I think he did that on purpose :). He has sung this song excellently. But I will still vote "Kuch is Tarah" as his best yet. He has a very innocent voice. Also, every singer, who can perform live like this is great and needs not to be mocked. They are artists and their religion and country is ART. Lets not fight over who is best &enjoy
