  • Assholes

  • fucking idiots.

  • WTF?? Sherlock Holmes was NOT a badass in the books. Ok, maybe at times, but that wasn't his persona. He wasn't a hard boiled detective, he was a classical detective and more of a gentlemen. I hate how people who read the books and don't understand he wasn't some 19th century special agent.

  • It's not that these films are confusing, but they are just so FUCKING BORING!!!!

  • If either of the Sherlock Holmes movies confused these people then The Matrix must have been the most confusing thing ever. Seriously, none of those are that confusing. At all, really. I'm getting more disappointed as I watch more of these videos. Not all of them, but certain reviews are just done so sloppily and it all just seems to go over their heads.

  • And i'm really dissapinted to see review like that on a channel that's connected with TYT

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think any of these people (except the man on the far right) understand. Are they established critics, or just incapable of properly evaluating a film?

  • forest sene best sene ever

  • how was sherlock holmes 1 or 2 confusing ? I never saw a movie that confused me, never, maybe y'all are just to stupid, once a crossover of story happens, multiple storylnes or any fast events back to back you guys brains turn off

  • These people shouldn't be reviewing films. Obviously they never learned to read.

  • Great movie* ready to go see it again. Was burning on ethanol for a week, a mental elixir ! 2 thumbs up

  • This review is shit...it seems these guys and lady dont understand that certain scenes are shown then backtracked to show and explain why the scene happened the way it did. This movie and the first one were fantastic holmes movies and they havent deviated too far from the sherlock holmes in the books...only these movies doesnt show holmes snorting his cocaine lol..

  • These guys don't know what they're talking about. The plot, I agree, was really confusing, but that was all made up for by the screenplay and the setting. Did anyone else notice that Holmes NEVER explained his reasoning? But we could follow what was happening, even with an impossible puzzle, or a lightning fast fight scene, because of the use of slow mo, zooming, and camera placement. This engaged me like few movies have. Sure, this movie has it's flaws, but over all, I thought it was brilliant.

  • Am I the only one that actually finds the criticisms of this movie to be valid? It was an exhausting waste of over 2 hours of my life. The action scenes are shot terribly, anyone paying attention to the editing objectively can see that.

Most of these people in the comments are annoying fanboys. Just accept that not everybody agrees with you. Deal with it.

  • @MrSplatterPlatter you mean you agree with people that have the same opinions that you have, wow its not like you called anyone on that recently

  • Hey Hey Hey give these guys a break it is hard to review a movie when your head is up your ass. All i can say is that 1out of 4 of those people actually reviewed the movie. and that person was the dude on the far right. he actually reviewed it and gave points, gray beard goggles and shrill lady just complained about the same thing for 8 minutes. and the guy on the far left sounded like he did not even see the film, so what was he doing there making jokes his co-"reviewers" didn't find funny

  • @MuLaFraga08 by "actually reviewed the movie" you mean "agreed with you", right?

  • @MrSplatterPlatter what MuLaFraga08 said is very true, the other people did nothing but complain, the dude on the far right said things that he liked about the movie and said other things he did not like, he gave points. The other reviewers in this video really only talked about 2 things, the slow-mo and lack of female lead. So yes he may agree with the dude on the far right, as do I, but the fact still remains that the other people did not review the movie, at least all of it

  • @MrSplatterPlatter No sir that is not the point at all, what my somewhat crude comment alluded to earlier was that the other reviewers failed in their attempt to accurately describe or "review" the pros (which there were) and cons of the film. admittedly it is not a perfect film but it was not awful. what made me angry was the fact that the others complained! not reviewed. the point is ok but it is the why that makes up the argument. for me they did not explain satisfactorily

  • As far as I can tell only one person reviewed this film out of the four of them, the dude on the far right, he had the only constructive and informative insight into the film. He understood what was going on during that time period and also had some background knowledge on Holmes. The lady and the dude with the grey beard were just bitching the whole time and said nothing of importance. The dude on the far left, what the hell was he doing in this video. This was a god awful review, 0 out of 10

  • @Ander3030150 Ben (Far left) is easily the best reviewer of them all.

  • These reviewers are idiots. I'm twelve and I understood it perfectly. It's a great movie, as good as the first one. If you're going to review a movie you have to see it, not just look at the tralier! You also have to take into acount that most people watching it aren't as stupid as those reviewers.

  • Terrible review. They sound like a band of fools, validating one another's stupidity by blaming it on the film.

  • I think it was the same as the first they just added Moriarty. But Moriarty is great and his complex plan forces us to pay more attention than the first one. But I loved it, though it had a bit TOO MUCH slow motion. But great nonetheless.

  • Am I the only one who thinks they based their criticism off the trailer? One chick even admits she hadn't seen the movie. Absolute rubbish review, amazing movie.

  • AHHG these ppl are horrible! This movie was AMAZING!

  • @1Beatlesfreak1 I agree

  • He says the slow-motion bullet in the gun things is cool once or twice, but "everytime" is just annoying. They only did it twice in the movie..

  • that fat grey haired dude really hates slomo...can't blame him tbh i mean he prolly got sick of it doing it himself irl....

  • @faibarlinc999 AHAHAHAH

  • One question, what type of film critics cant follow this movie? When this was said all credibility went out the window.

  • Moriarity has to be one of the best antagonists ever

  • What is wrong with these people? If they're movie critics they should be able to understand the movie if the pay attention. I'll agree that the first movie was better, and this one seemed to be more focused on the fighting, the were parts were the slow-mo was not really necessary but it does have a nice effect on other parts. The beginning and ending were kind of meh, but the in-between was great. I give it a 7.5, maybe an 8

  • there are 4 types of people in this world: inteligents, normal, morons and reviwers of "what the flick", I mean, I'm 13 and I clearly understood the movie. People like then should't have tv programs!!!

  • retards.

  • My kids are 14, 17 and 21 years old, they did enjoy and understand very well. About TYT Network, I don't understand this kind of "reviewers" intentions, but what is very clear, is the lacked of knowledge on this 4 stooges do a movie review.

  • the average IQ of the reviewers is 43.

  • They really don't know what they're talking about

  • I think these guys cheese slide off their cracker, they are dumb :S

  • she gave it a fucking 2.9; omg if i subscribed to this shit I would unsubscribe.

  • @itachi150101 fukurmom

  • @itachi150101 ha ha I agree. I have seen some of their other videos and there is a reason why I have not subscribed to their program, this review just made sure that I never will

  • Holy fuck they just sit there and bitch like morons. I wanted to cut my ears off when the girl talked about how it was colorlss.

  • can anyone tell me the music in the back round of the trailer

  • oh and bye the way you all got a thumbs down from me the guy to the far right was the only one who knew what the fuck he was talking about.

  • @2gogols I agree that the dude on the far right had the only constructive things to say. The d-bag on the far left had no purpose being there and only made very stupid jokes and tried to make people think that he is somewhat smart

  • fuck the people this movie was true to the books and was very good, these people are just haters.

  • Quite Possibly the worst movie review i have had the displeasure to watch. All of thse people obviously do not know a thing about movies. Alanso states that the movie is too loud, what would you expect of an action move? Are we made to believe the gun fire, explosions etc are to be quieter? The movie is confusing because it has alot of twists, sherlock has trapped the villain into thinking he is in control the whole time. This was one of the best movies I have seen. Poor review...

  • Erm in the 1890's London was covered in smog, which in turn coated everything, and in gentlemens clubs they were allowed to smoke, and people did - heavily! Which anyone who smokes knows when it gathers on a surface it does give a faded coloured look, but judging by the rest of this review, im guessing you intelligence doesn't expand that far, what an appalling review.

  • THe story is about being confuse at first, its the thrill to uncover the mystery!! GOD! they should read the book they be more confuse!...... DUMB PEOPLE!

  • Back in the 1950's and 60's, New York was smog central. I can believe that "gray London" effect.

  • Ok this is the baddest review I have seen in a long time...

  • THIS MOVIE IS A JOKE COMPARED TO THE UK TV SERIES!

  • this movie is fucking awesome you guys have no taste in movie

  • very gay movie, these are secrets gays

  • These guys are racist..

  • those who find SH2 is confusing is becuz they don't hard and ahead like us who pressed "dislike" button...

At the end of movie, Holmes explained everything! EVERYTHING! How stupid can u guys and othe ppl be huh!?

  • they didn't talk about watson at all.....

  • Umm that's not a review that's an argument

  • what a bunch of fucken tools ! this movie was brilliant

  • @AleksTee just because they happen to not agree with you does not make them tools. if their arguments are reasonable then I can see why they would not like this movie and be fine with that.

  • @AleksTee Imbeciles

  • @AleksTee People can have opinions you asshole. This movie has a 60% tomato meter rating so clearly it isn't widely praised. You don't need to judge people for criticizing something you enjoy.

  • i fucking had to log in just to dislike your channel.. i seiously thought sherlock holmes was a badass movie.. get new critics

  • TYT, please get new critics.

  • jesus they call themselves experts, and they can barely explain or understand the movie? geeez.

  • I loved Game of Shadows. Movie reviewers are so jaded sometimes.

  • At least someone did his homework, bunch of retards!

  • I actually thought this movie was really good. The characters were interesting, with some comedic relief throughout the movie. I thought the slo-mo looked amazing

  • Michael Bay was just hurt badly

  • What was the exact point of puttung together 4 people who hated this movie so that they can trash it together?

  • Pretty much any movie that resorts to a man dressing in drag has jumped the shark, but I still like the film well enough. I just wish filmmakers would have films relate more to the real world. What train doesn't stop, but keeps going after the last half is blown off.

  • Saw it last night.... Loved the first film... this one was just bad. Unengaging, too long, RDJ tried too hard and his accent was different from the first film (Jude Law was very good however). Story was lacking. Shame. BBC TV series has proved to be far better.

  • I understood everything about the movie exept the ending, how do they Moriarty and Holmes talk through thinking?

  • And the lesbian chick in the middle. Fuck her too.

  • Especially the fat one with the stupid huge glasses.

  • The two queers on the left need to have the smug slapped out of them.

  • everything is interesting in slow motion xD

  • ah, cmon who dosent like slowmoe? its kickass

  • I don't watch these video's often and my first impression is that these guys are just critiquing the film for the sake of it. In my opinion there is really not that much wrong with the film, but they would not have much to talk about if they agreed that it was a good film. I dunno just seems kinda like a scripted review :/

  • I thought the movie was great. Great casting with the new charcters, i didnt mind the slo-mo parts... and i dont think that Downey did a terrible job... I enjoyed the movie :)

  • But its true, you would have to be a complete fecking retard to not follow the plot. very bad film, 2 stars.

  • Watch SHERLOCK on BBC. Arthur Conan Doyle would be turning in his grave over this traversty

  • in the books Sherlock Holmes is an elite martial artist and swordsman (for his time, obviously they didn't have brazilian jiiu jitsu in england in the 1890s)... he wasn't an "Action hero" because the genre didn't exist back then. but by today's standards Sherlock Holmes would have been written as a bona fide bad ass character

  • I gotta admit, there was way too much slo-mo in this movie. Like when John Woo did Mission Impossible 2, the slo-mo was starting to get a little annoying. That being said, these guys are idiots, except for maybe the guy on the right who at least had constructive feedback. And it wasn't jiu jitsu, it's Bartitsu/Baritsu which Sir Arthur Conan Doyle does reference. Only reason past actors haven't used it is because they were too afraid to break a nail, so focused more on talking and acting brainy.

  • you have got to be kidding me this got 4.3, it should be higher

the lady and 4 eyes are idiots

  • I think this was one of the very few unpredictable films you'll come across. The ending was just amazing. The film gives you clues as it builds up and it's the little things that then progress to become so big. I have to say i enjoyed the film thoroughly and i reckon they shall go on to make a sequel.

  • wow these people get PAID to stand around a table and give crappy reviews??

  • the movie is AT LEAST an 8.6. i do agree with them about he slow motion though, it was WAY overused. the mental fight scene with moriarty is the best scene in the movie. and yes noomi rapace should have been used more in the movie.

  • if they found this movie confusing, then i bet they had a hell of a time with inception.

  • @allday1997 forget inception. They'd have trouble following twilight.

  • @allday1997 I thought I understood inception before I saw the what the flick review.

  • @allday1997 Nah, Holmes 2 had a very unsure and messy plot that constantly tested the water before moving any further. Inception explored the world of dream scoping before entering the "final job" that would enevitably explain the ambiguous beginning.

  • these guys just dont know how to enjoy a movie, sorry

  • r they on drugs this movie was good there all a bunch of idiots I hope they get cancer

  • r these guys on crack that movie was good these people have to be some of the worst critics I've ever seen I hope they get cancer

  • I don't understand why Hollywood hires american actors to do british accents or british actors to do american accents.

  • I seriously cannot believe that anybody can watch a movie of any kind and not understand the plot?! Movies are so up front for the audience, they quite literally tell you everything you need to know. All you ever need to do in a movie is listen because they are (mostly) made for everybody to see including the simplest of people. If you don't like the plot or layout of a film that's fine but to say you can't understand it is just nuts.

  • This was terrible. Useless unintelligent trashing of a good movie and mostly you completely missed the point I think. If you didn't understand the plot then the movie isn't for you but Sherlock Holmes is known for his wit and extraordinary talent and intelligence so that has to be an element. I'm 14 and understood it and frankly when they were talking about the webb Holmes had on his wall I wish they had gone into more detail but that probably would have bored most people.

  • I find it highly suspect when a majority of the comments refer back to the "classic" Sherlock Holmes, I would bet a great majority havent read a single Sir Conan Doyle book...

  • @binx2629 actually when I read the "Final Problem", i felt it was kinda weak too. Didn't really have a plot either, just a narrative of Holmes trying to outsmart Moriarty. To me, it lacked the detective-like plot where you need to look for clues and find out the truth. So with that regards, the movie did ok, considering what it had to work with.

  • Another big budget movie devoid of a plot. I want a plot that I can make sense of...Not a movie that needs to be explained at the end...

  • @binx2629 that is the style of the movie though. Holmes is a detective....it isn't all going to be served of a golden platter for him

  • The top comments already said it all... This review is absolutely terrible, I am extremely disappointed in you guys.. What happened?

  • 1:40 bet the guy in the backround is in trouble lol

  • Jeremy Brett or the BBC miniseries best versions..

  • sigh thumbs up if you remember when wtf actually knew how to review movies :(

  • First of all:

Why do people constantly need to refer to the classic books? I understand that these are great milestones of litterature and important works. But why can't the movie stand by itself? It is a great action/adventure movie and makes for extraordinarily great entertainment. Why is that wrong, why is bad if you make a movie for the solemn purpose of great entertainment?

  • i think Matt is spot on: not a great movie but good enough and not so bad as Alonso says (3 must be bad joke)

yes too much stop and go slow mo

and stephan fry was great - lol his naked old man fat ass mad me lough

they also didnt mention the great chemistry between jude law and downey jr

  • Three points:

    1. Stephen Fry is amazing and the only reason I went to see this film.

    2. You neglect to mention that Holmes could solve cases from within the confines of Baker street. He was only an action hero when it was absolutely nessercary and it was hardly the main appeal of his character.

    3. Was I the only one who couldn't keep Sherlock quotes out of my head?

    "Catch. You. Later."

    "No you won't!"

  • That lady is a fuckin bitch. Seriously.

  • @MoyoGangster that lady is not a bitch you asswipe, she is awesome. i hope you go to hell and get fuickked by a demon in your ass. fagit. GTFO youtube. ya, she is a little fat, ya she might have an annoying voice, ya she might be stupid sometimes, but she is not a bitch.

  • Comment removed

  • @MoyoGangster did you ever wonder that perhaps you have bad taste and not them?

  • Comment removed

  • @MoyoGangster ok i get what your saying, but the director really fucked the pooch with this film, like all the slow motion shit should not have been in there. if there was a half competent director working on the film, then that wouldn't be an issue. but dam guy ritchie really really fucked up. you gotta agree with them about that man, guy ritchie really really missed the mark. and i dont particularly like robert downey Jr. take on the character but i geuss its entertaining in its own right.

  • @malows1234 I think the slo-mo was cool. And the slo-motion doesn't happen that much. it's such a minor aspect to stert whining about. It really seems like those critics does not even care about the movie, they just pointing out minor "mistakes" and complains about it. I don't like it. It makes me say things like "bitch". They were complaining about the fucking colors. C'mon. Really?

  • @MoyoGangster dude you dont get it man. the director completely completely dropped the ball, that movie was so fucking dark that it was hard to look at. secondly why the fuck do i need to see a stupid as bullet fly out of the gun in slo-mo? why do i need to see a tree break in slo-mo? honestly? ya the movie itself is decent, not great but decent. but the whole style and directing is such a failure and YOU KNOW IT.

  • @malows1234 I'm afreid, I DON'T KNOW IT. I can't see what is wrong with this movie. You, and I. We clearly have differt opinions. Nothing wrong with that. I'm getting kinda tired of this shit. OK bye.

  • I have not seen this movie yet but original was amazing, apart from tower bridge traveling to Westminster at the end, it was an amazing film. Very easy to follow and the slow motion was amazing. Sorry but these critics seem to have either not got it or just have bad taste

  • Well I thought the movie was freaking amazing. Better than the original. Screw u guys.

  • Took you ten minutes to say you didnt like it? Waste of time

  • These people couldn't follow the movie? I thought they were smart pompous assholes. They're just a bunch of dumbasses. Alonzo admitted he got up to stuff his fat face, rather than see the whole movie. What a horrible movie critic. And Matt, why would the movie makers want to establish what Moriarty did by reversing the Slow Mo fight scene. The reversal surprise was awesome. I only watch these things just so I can disagree with these people so much.

  • All these guys are stupid... I watched it yesterday and I could follow it absaloutley fine, I honestly don't see how they can't understand it and like the last movie it has got an equal mix of action and detective story as well... What a bunch of dumbasses

  • Tis critics sucks accept for the guy on the extreme right...

  • I don't understand how people couldn't understand this movie. Holmes explains it all at the end. That's what Holmes is all about. Your not supposed to have it all figured out before he does, he's Holmes! And there is no way they could have established the twist with the slow motion at the end because Holmes and Moriarty are the only people smart enough to be able to do it. And the whole this with it being all gray in London...anyone ever hear of symbolism? The movie is called a game of shadows.

  • Young Adult is at 80%!! That movie looks terrible. They give this movie such low ratings. These critics suck.

  • Actually there is a difference between this movie and the first one. Other than the new Villian the humor in this film is more tolerable than in the last film. I didn't like some of the humor in the last film. I thought it really demeaned Holmes to be tied up naked in a bed. This movie does not have that kind of humor. I actually didn't mind seeing him in drag. I like that the disguises in this movie are better.

  • certainly better than the first movie. But this Holmes is more like a imitation of the Holmes I grew up with. I read the books as a child. I grew u watching Basil Rathbone andf I saw the Young Sherlock Holmes movie. I wish the new Holmes had the famous hat or at least the catch pharses that him such a great character. "The game is afoot," "Elementary my dear Watson," and "Good show Watson." Aside from that I like this movie. Harris is great as Mortiarty.

  • Ben,Alonzo and christy need to go jerk each other off to the Notebook. especially Alonzo

  • this is probably one of the worst reviews ever , honestly my 2 year old cousin can do something better than this.

  • Movie Critics are morons.

  • @lambofreak55 I agree. Better to watch Beyond the trailer or the critics at Thatguywiththeglasses website. At least there I feel like these are real people or people I can realate to. The crritics here suck.

  • Americans talking about a European novel?? Hahaha funny.. now go and have your burrito..

  • @johngl70 A german using a American made website, to watch a American made review of a American Made movie? hahahaha funny.....now go eat your Sauerkraut......

  • @LoganStarwind a American? Well that explains a lot.For making a smart review taking into account that this is a character extracted from a novel you need to have knowledge and criteria about the topic and as the final result seems to be a movie, cinematography is more than just talking about cameras and pixels. This is a joke made by people that don't even know the difference b/t being stupid or ignorant. Get your facts straight. Now go and keep on watching some reality show..

  • @LoganStarwind p.s: Asshole ;)

  • i loved the first one, one of my favorite movies so i'm sure the second one willl be awsome as well! ;)

  • Just a bunch of old fucks thinking there popular on the Internet. Then they go and act like they know a shit or 2 about Holmes. How canny not keep up with the movie? My brother is in 5th grade and he kept up with the movie just fine

  • The women reviewer hasn't seen the film and is reviewing the movie...

  • BTW Sherlock was master Chinese boxing... and he beats up people alot

  • Fat guy in black has never a SHerlock Holmes book...

Sherlock was messy and cocaine accent...

The movies are a love note for Sherlock fans...

Mycroft, Mortiarty, Irene Adler are all known to the fans.

  • just watched it today. I give it a 7.231453253632.

Oh and i love Snatch as well

  • I thought this movie was awesome..these reviews are laughable.

  • I like you to fuck in the direction of off

  • why are you guys like... standing now?

  • I used to like these guys, but I can't anymore...

The only sensible one is Matt, all the others are idiots. The movie was fantastic, top notch, amazing. It had a great mix of mystery and action. At first you are confused, but then it all comes out at the end. That is how Sherlock Holmes has always rolled. We don't see his secrets until he tells us. Anyone who can find this movie confusing and hard to follow needs to be shot because they are literally too stupid to live.

    Fuck you guys.

  • @ArcticSquirrel44 This movie was complete shit. The technicality of it covered up the lame plotline and mediocre acting. They basically had no lines whatsoever, just terribly shot action sequences. Plus, whatever 'humour' in it was not humorous, in fact there was such little character connection that there was no way it can be humorous. There were so many sequences that did not need to be there or were dragged out way to long. It's a terrible film.

  • @ArcticSquirrel44 Also, Irene Adler did not need to be there. Stupidest beginning sequence ever.

  • @ArcticSquirrel44 Well said, agree with everything

  • I generally agree with these guys. But I was entertained the entire movie. The chess scene to the end specifically I thought was awesome.

  • my favorite movie of the year

  • 5:13 Thanks for letting us know Christy, makes you even hotter

  • Also god-for-fucking-bid someone do something different or unique. Expand you fucking horizons.

  • You have to have someone explain to you what happened? Seriously? It IS literally explained in the movie.

If you can't understand it, then it wasn't meant for you at all. Maybe try paying attention next time. That or go back to watching movies with simple plots.

  • LOVED this movie :) :)

  • the problem with this so called "movie critics" is the fact that they can review a movie for what it is... granted... these movies have nothing to do with the Sherlock Holmes book... WE ALL KNOW THAT, this is a whole different thing, WE ALL KNOW THAT... its an mystery, action, suspense movie, WE ALL KNOW THAT... so, next time u review a movie, review it for what it is please. and just because u r idiots and u dont understand a movie, doesnt mean its a bad movie, it just mean u r retarded.

  • Dude, the guy with the gray hair is whiny as hell. It's too loud? That's part of what makes it awesome. Why did you go to see it? Did you really expect it not to be loud?

  • I think for Sherlock Holmes 3, they should do a murder mystery.. that'd be great!

  • these people are idiots

  • I think once you get over the fact that they are crapping on classic literature, it becomes a good movie
