I'm enjoying your videos. They're well done, informative, clearly understood, and you talk without mumbling. :)
I've been trying to find what the charging specs are for that bike. Do you know what the maximum charge current is? Have you had any difficulties with accessories draining the battery?
Hi Mr. Soundltechguy, my dealer installed both the Hondaline heated grips and the power outlet. The grips work, but the power outlet doesn't! Should I try the Marineco outlet first, or just bring it back to the dealer? Thanks for your terrific and informative videos on the NT700V.
I would certainly bring it back. If you paid for the item to be installed properly and it does not seem to be functioning properly, I would start there. The Honda unit seems to be a bit fickle about the mating plug that goes into it. I have found that some fit perfectly and some do not. The plugs that do not go in well tend to either wiggle loose and loose connection, or just don't seem to make contact at all. I have found that Powerlet also makes a very good socket for motorcycles.

Bike is outstanding. The heated grips with the wind deflector kit is a must.
