No, its not possible to make a new campaign for NTW.

This mod here will just have multiplayer battles (Antietam and Gettysburg I think)

@Hinkel84 A new campaign would be ideal, but probably better suited to Empire total war since the map is already laid out and most of the major battles occurred in the eastern half of the U.S. I would love to see a civil war campaign with NTW's improved features. I agree it'll never happen though, unless it is handled by the developers themselves.

We released our civil war mod for Empire total war in april 2009, its currently out as version 2.65 and we are offering a campaign for that mod "The Blue and the Grey".

So for those who like campaigns, they need to download our ETW civil war mod. North and South will be for NTW and will only feature multiplayer battles ;)

@Hinkel84 Ahhh i see. I just installed the Darthmod Ultimate Commander mod to ETW yesterday (which, if you didn't know, is a huge mod pack) so i'll be occupied with that lol. However, to put it simply, i prefer NTW's battles, particularly the upgraded use of cannon, over ETW's totally bugged out enemy AI. That said, i think ETW's map is much better because of it's scope and also has more playable factions. so as i said, a campaign with civil war factions and NTW features would be perfect :)

Oh my God, who is your sound guy? Those musket sounds are god awful. I see where you are trying to go for the clamor of musketry sound effect but that is just noise.

Personelly, I love the new musket sounds. Have you ever been to a reenactment? The sounds are actually live recorded in some reenactments.

@Hinkel84 I've just seen this comment. I think the point my brother was trying to make (we share accounts) was that they aren't very clear. And I see where he's coming from because it sounds like it was ripped from a camcorder at a reenactment. The sounds aren't bad, but they aren't my favorite in a mod either I have to say.
