Very nice actually. Could do with some minor improvements, but i was intrigued to see how fast the roof went up - which is usually the most trying part ot a build. I don't understand the negative comments.
Great video, this is how most budget houses are built in the UK now as well. With a good slab, the weight is spread so well that even if the concrete shrinks slightly it wont effect the frame.
Not a problem. This is a very light construction. Concrete hardens quickly, in a few hours to 80% stength, then progressively over the next few weeks achieves the balance. Most engineers calculate with sufficient spare strength for builders to work at this sort of pace.
soo your saying the foundation was poured and as soon as it was "dry" not set, you began framing? holy fuck thats asking for things to move in the future! takes a foundation or slab or block foundation AT LEAST 7 days to set before you should build on it. In the future I'm almost certain that your going to get all sorts of cracked drywall.
cool video but a night mare for the home owner from settling.cracking drywall from out of plumb windowns and doors....just not the right way to have it done.less expensive, but more matainance in the long run!

You can build quick house extensions now using slimline masonry joints - they're usually ready to finish a week after starting.

this sounds like a bad idea in the long run.. The people who want the same for their property are either retarded or slum landlords. or both.
