The original transformation is truly the best in my opinion. It's like they randomly cut into the sequence for the dub.....I love the English music though!

This is hard to decide... Since i can't really watch Tokyo Mew Mew and I've been watching mew mew power all my life, Im still going to have to say Tokyo Mew Mew. I've watched a couple of episodes online and I see that on the English version they've changed the music and cut out loads of scenes that are real good, Tokyo Mew Mew is the best :)

I like the Japanese better, I don't know why but I cant stand the english versions, the only english dubs that are good are ones that just altar the language, not cut heaps of scenes, and change the dialouge etc. 4kids have ruined a few of my favourite animes, Tokyo mew mew, Yu Gi Oh...

But its not really ruined, I can just go watch the Japanese version :) suits me

to it than that. Now, I'd like to give my opinion, I prefer the English voice actor. The Japanese voice actor isn't that bad, but the voice is a bit, too much for me--it's too high-pitched. The English voice actor actually matches the character's physical profile. There are some things I disagree with the English and Japanese showing. It's the names. Also it's the name of the attacks--It doesn't bother me that much, but it does bother me nonetheless.

I have something to say, and this goes out for all the japanese/english comparisions: A lot of people are OBVIOUSLY gonna choose the japanese voice simply because it's an anime and it's from Japan. To be honest, I really think that's very ignorant: not picking any fights, but it is. And I also like to point out that some of these people who make that choice without really knowing the voiceactress, can't even speak japanese! No, knowing a little doesn't mean you really understand it, there's more

4kids in particular has done much to earn a bad reputation, and I myself have only come across one anime that was acceptable in English: Cowboy Bebop.

Obviously, lots of people are going to choose the original version because American companies often try to "cartoonize" anime (which means they try to appeal to a younger audience). This results in pointless edits and change of background music to more "upbeat" tunes. Personally, I find most American dubs way too dramatic. They also love giving characters voices that are much too mature for them.

Not all english dubs are like that. And not all American companies "cartoonize" anime. There are actually some good-american based animes. Avitar is one. One's that mock are shows like Kappa Mikey and such. If my book became a series, I'd certainly would not let it be over dramatic with the voice actors. And my comment was rash, due to the fact that I see this sort of thing everyother day, sadly. So to end this, let's agreed to disagree. People are known to have opinions.

as a matter of fact "sunshine" tokyo mew mew/ mew mew power, was made by Reiko Yoshida then later was made into a anime. 4kids just took the tokyo mew mew clips edited over them (dubbed) and made it more "suitable" for littler kids. Btw stfu.

I know this is a late comment, but no they really didn't, they gave the characters crappy voices, change names to english names and cut out scenes for no "real" reason. 4kids more or less just makes a crappy dub rather than make it suitable for kids.

4 KIDS DESROYED THIS ANIME.The english voice actors COMPLETLY LACK enthusiasum And sounds awful aswell as that 4kids destroyed the emotion in this anime and cut all the transfomations.
