I've gotten so many great ideas on You Tube for my curly hair. I used to wake up with a big poof that looked like a pomeranian. But they need to use ugly models so that we can feel that we look comparitavely great.

You can perm naturally curly hair, but I wouldn't hold my breath expecting it to look like the models without some serious work.

You'll still probably need to curl some individual strands with an iron and product to achieve the defined, glossy look in this video.
