@BaumerPaulGefreiter I was 8 back then, and I remember my parents crying when we won. Nobody cared that we didn't win the gold. All that mattered was that we beat Russians who occupied our country back then. My mom who is hardly a sport fan was literally near collaps in the last minute. This was the biggest win ever of Czechoslovakian hockey. No foreigner will ever be able to understand what went on in our hearts. Even though they beat us with tanks, we beat then back - in war called hockey

@micanut48 -thats must have been unbelievable feeling .I have heard from my parents ,who were yooung at that time...-this match meant a lot to them ..-- right after it ..provocateurs in Prague Wenceslav square broken glass in Soviet airlines ,Aeroflot and secret police started rounded up people,..-normalization started and we were doomed for another 20 years,...:-(

I contemplated return back home after so many years in US but I am really disappointed to see that the entire nation is deeply misguided, corruption is rampant, and socialism is still very much present as it destroys society from top down. The start of the decline can be traced all the way back to these important dates: 1868 (New Constitution was secretly rewritten, and although never ratified by states, it changed a free men into subjects). 1913 - arrival of Federal Reserve Bank. 1933 - FDR executive order declaring all US citizens the enemy of the state. 9/11/2001 -complete destruction of last freedoms in US. It is very bad.

@micanut48 -I live in London ,Iam economic immigration ....,we got worst off ,no green cards,no advantages...,but we had to leave ,no jobs outside of Prague...People in Czech seem to me ,they would anything for money ...,its crazy sometimes.Morals are not there,but they all brainwashed by the media ..

It is harder that way but the immense comfort in appreciating the fact that you are fully independent, proud man, and that should triumf over any hardship. economic emigration was tough ,but you got a point. My friends still live there, and I dont think all of them gor married to US citizen....so its the same.,one problem ,and zionist Homeland Security could make them problem.
