Nice PC. What is that 26" screen like as a computer monitor? Is it too big? Also, i'm guessing it runs at 1360x768. What is that like with PC games? The main reason i want to get a HDTV as a computer monitor is that my computer isn't particularly high end and HDTVs run in lower resolutions than normal monitors (more FPS) and i want to play xbox 360 (and xbox original) on it and also watch tv. I am just a bit worried about how well it will do the computer monitor bit. :(

well people i'll be honest, i was so in love with this mobo u cant imagine. i didnt want to hear my friends telling me that this mobo sucks. so this wat happened. i bouhgt it at dec last year. i just enjoyed this mobo 4 a month a 12 days, my o.c. was 920mhz memmory and 1400 fsb. n i just got to this o.c trying n testing n rebooting 1000times until worked stable most of the time. then updated the bios to 1303 worked the hole day fine, i turned off by night. next morning :s just dead guys....fuckk

Not using the asus soundcard. Got a X-FI FATAL1TY FPS Soundcard. I also have a Logitech z-5500 wired up to it which brings out brillaint sound ;) its a good combination!

Right i had the same problem.. Basically make sure u disconnect everything and reconnect them again. Also take out the GFX card and and put it on the first PCI-e Slot the one nearest to the Ram. When you insert it don't bolt the nuts on see if it works like that. cos im doing the same and its running ok.

yeah i had some probs puting all the fans together but there all installed the powersupply has no lock switch behind and its really frustrating for me because its all there i anna play but i cant because it doesnt turn on xD likei said the led on the motherboard turns on but thats all when i press the power up button on the motherboard it doesnt give me any signal of power on...
did you had any problem with the mother board cause i got the same motherboard with the same zalman 9700, 1000w supply but when i put it ak together the leds on the mother board turned on but the motherboard doesnt turn on at all no sign of powers on the fans or anything
Its a great case for air cooling but i aint to sure about water cooling though.. I've just installed my water kit the other week and its abit of a tight one to get the pump fixed on.
I got the lattest version of the g15 lol the one with orange lights ^.^
but they both cool tho and I also using the g7 logitech cordless gaming mouse which is going really good for my gaming.
Just becarful with the striker board its pretty picky with memory cuz the bios is too old but once u find the tip n tricks of what asus tells u how to get the bios or the comp up n running hurry n update the bios to the lattest then put the memory timmings in.

I finally installed the Thermalright Ultra Extreme Heatsink and its working beautifully!
For those whos still curious on wether the Thermalright would fit on a Striker Extreme YES it would! Temps Idling @ 26 Degrees! :D
Your case would have to be wide enough to close the side panels. Had an issue with that but its sorted now..
I'll post up another video on the build, sorry guys for taking so long i've been working like a crack head and no time to for myself. :P
