  • is there any magical way for him to be my granpa? if somebody knows please send me an email

  • Only GREEK language..The most languages of the World come from the Greek language..

  • greeke is the ultimate language that can explain exact every thing!!!!!!!!ain if it wasent th money and the power it will be now the worlds language!!!!!!!!!!!!!anglish is a language that they vote for the meaning of the words!!!!!!!!!!!=feil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!simple?xaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxax!not simple!stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yes i dont no so match english bat i dont care for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!owwwwwwwwwwww dear !as the english says!xaaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa!!!!

  • I couldn't agree more. English should replace its current spelling system for a fresh, pronunciation-based system. When the Japanese and Chinese had complicated languages, they created new forms of their old systems. Each letter of the alphabet should represent 1 sound and 1 sound only, and not have 1 letter represent 152715287157815728512.256 different sounds.

  • At least he got through it without saying anything racist.

  • 'Ghoti' dates back to the 19th century.

    FISH could be spelled GHOTI:

GH sounds like F in 'enough'

O sounds like I in 'women'

TI sounds like SH in 'action'

Oh no, wait! GHOTI is impossible to pronounce! It has no sound at all:

    GH is silent in 'though'

    O is silent in 'people'

    T is silent in 'ballet'

    I is silent in 'business'

  • @DoctorPlausible Reminds me of that old English series "HOW", where Fred was explaining this word! Plus some others!

  • hahaha I love him. I hope to be like him when I'll get old. And to reach his age!

  • so what ? English is a simple language thats why its the most popular !!

  • Hate to break it to you gramps, but cum is spelled correctly.

  • YEES! Im in a good-feeling youtube video rhythm! Doesn't happen too often.

  • <3 Oh boy this brings joy to my heart!

  • Too bad the anglophone world is entrenched in stupidity and ignorance and mastering the spelling system is seen as a measure of intelligence. Despite other countries which have phonetic spelling having 100% literacy rates, the English speaking world keeps on truckin' with their below-standard literacy and refuses to even consider the concept of spelling reform.

    Fuck ignorans änd unqueschənd "trədishns".

  • @Rennonz No country in the world has 100% literacy, asshole.

  • @pretzelzetzel I never claimed that any country did. What is your point?

  • @Rennonz Yes you fucking did. "Despite other countries which have phonetic spelling having 100% literacy rates [...]". Fucking idiot.

  • @pretzelzetzel hah, you got me there, I didn't see my old comment. Actually some countries do have 100% literacy rates. Iceland for example. It should be noted that this excludes people who can't for whatever reason learn how to read and write.

Anyway, chill out a little, man. We're all just trying to have a good time here.

  • Heheh,... cum.

  • @guitarminator0 ... any language is easy to learn from birth. Saying English is easy to learn is an almost completely inaccurate statement. Try growing up in Spain and then trying to learn English when you are 20... its all about perspective.

  • idiots

  • What a fantastic man. :)

  • What language is spelt phonetically?

    wat laguaj is spelt foneticly?

I know bits of french, german, italian, spanish and filipino and none of it is phonetic

    naturlich :)

  • @ernesthelp Romanian is speeled phoneticaly

  • @ernesthelp German is mostly phonetic. Turkish is phonetic.

  • @ernesthelp Korean "hangul" is said to be the most phonetically identical written language to the spoken one, as it was invented by Koreans for Koreans. Same with the Japanese hiragana/katakana-system!

  • @ernesthelp Pretty sure Italian is.

  • @ernesthelp hungarian words are spelt phoentically most of the time

  • @ernesthelp Spanish (from spain) is almost phonetically written. Ok, not 100% phonetical, but almost: C before a,o,u is pronounced like /K/, beore e,i as a /Z/, but "ce" is pronounced /ze/ allways. If you heard a word in spanish you are able to write it correctly without a problem.

  • I love you.

  • what a fucking boss

  • "...was 102 when we shot this."

...does this me this cool old dude is dead? That makes me kinda sad.

  • I know this may sound dum, num... but I'd certainly like to get sum hum so I can cum.

  • 102 years old!

  • stolen from gallagher.

  • WHAT A BOSS

  • if we did this we'd end up with a lot more homonyms than we have already ... :\

  • The reason english is so complicated is because it is an amalgamtion of many languages over hundreds of years. English has BY FAR more words than any language on the planet. In the process of organizing these words into one coherent language many changes were made to avoid contextual and vocal confusion. If you want to change all this, it's fine. Just be prepared to learn a new language with new grammar.

  • @nbyrd921 Oxford English dictionary has around 171 thousand words (and 50thousand obsolete ones). Spanish "Americanisms" dictionary itself has around 70Thousand words, count at least 100thousand more words in the DRAE dictionary and you have already 170... as in english.

  • @torn314 Well you are just a dumb person

  • @torn314 While I do agree that the video has little useful content, he WAS pointing out that English has flaws that make the learning of it difficult. Also, your comment regarding people over 60 was untrue and simply distasteful.

  • Comment removed

  • @torn314 You were useless from day 1.

  • FOREVER ALONE

  • i wish this guy was my english teacher

  • 1:15 he is so poud

  • Wait a second.....

    Isn't sum spelled sum already?

    hmmm this is sure dum

  • @chidorivsspiritbomb he refering to the spelling of some

  • @chidorivsspiritbomb as in the sum of an equation yes but otherwise no

  • English is a piece of shit but somehow it has found its way into our lives. It sounds HORRIBLE and AWFUL together, make it HORR-AWFUL. Jut take a look at your face when you say HORRAWFUL in the mirror. HORR-AW-FUL. Yep, that is English.

We all know Latin or a Romance language would have been a more suitable international language. Shit, even my pagan ancestors were romanized in a century, 2000 years ago, without the use of a PC and internet, so imagine how easy that would have been today.

  • fucking baller

  • that was very amazing

  • CUM. C - U - M.

  • fuck this im moving

  • This guy is amazing.

  • Made my day.

  • fukin awesome lol

  • I love you.

  • Trust me, english is a very easy language to learn! Heck I'm french first language and I learned more about the english language from SESAME STREET than friggin grade school!!! Because believe me, you don't wanna learn how to write in french! That language is complicated for nothing, with all the è ç ë ò and all that garbage, more than half the people in my french classes would fail or barely pass, including myself. I'm glad English is a billion times more simple!

  • @sylvur most of this is due to the fact that it's easier to pick up on language skills at a young age. That's why there is so much emphasis on language development in gradeschools. It's all of the nonsense rules involved for both spelling and grammar. In other languages the rules for spelling and grammar are a lot of rigid with far fewer word-specific rules.

I'm not telling you you're wrong because that's subjective. But to insist you're right is ignorant at best.

  • @Shhhzzzz

French and English are both second languages to me. English is much, much, much easier. Incidentally, Italian is about as easy as English to learn to speak, but easier to write by hearing. Spellingwise, English is quite strange, but not the worst around.

  • @ninhursa9 I wasn't touting English as the hardest language around to learn, or at least not trying to. It's somewhat hard to get into specifics with 250 chars. I think you'll find in most cases there is a bigger/better/more difficult version of something out there :P.

  • that was fuckin' awesome!

  • He said bomb, what a terrorist.

  • cum, c u m... what a perv

  • @sigvard121 that guy is so old he probably didn't know what cum was. back in his day that referred to it as pecker spit

  • @sigvard121 maybe he meant 'cum' as in "Oi! Come over here." You perv! haha

  • Next lets get rid of irregular verbs.

  • hmmm, i think this guy needs to look into phonetic vowels.

  • Awesome! Amazing old gentleman.

  • He was a visionary dude

  • I love this guy!

  • No wonder I can't spell!

  • absolutely fantastic :D

  • This was my great uncle - an amazing man who lived to be 104 years old! we will miss him...
