Glad to hear your son is improving. As far as your experience at your friend's house is concerned, I believe that a dog owner should allow his guests to look at his/her dog and make any kind of movements without the fear of an attack. In regards to it being a "highly trained dog", I think it is more important to be able to stop your dog from doing something than to get it to do something. Dog owners should have total control and guests should not experience fear. Just my opinion.

I'm really scared of dogs. I can't get over it, and it gives me a lot of problems when i'm in the city, or with people with dogs. but i don't know how to get over it

@xhegeierox same your the not the only one. i cant go to my friends houses or go to the park. this causes a lot of problems too.

@ovleb2 Why don't you meet a pitbull? Most are really sweet dogs, I promise. /watch?v=a7lBQPJeERc . If you're too scared to meet even a puppy, ask the owner to muzzle it until you think you can get comfortable with it out of the muzzle. Lots of people have dogs, so even if you don't plan to own one, you should try to get to know one.
