My grandparents had a husky mix dog and it would shed large poofs of very soft fur every spring and the birds would carry it away to their nests. But i never saw a bird helping himself to it straight from the dog, lol.

@Andreazor First of all a raven is much smaller, plus look at its beak. It's bold and a crow's beak is pointy.

The wolf is probably in the process of shedding his coat for his new winter coat and doesn't care about the lose of fur. And the crow is using it for nesting material.
