@ImNotCow1 I have never heard of Jose Aldo, but I will look him up. Thanks.
I am not a fan of holding onto one person, unless they are still the best, then it is confirmed by the obvious. I appreciate many martial artists, and the newer ones sometimes have interesting styles. Not everyone has to try to be like Bruce anyway. But, he is still the one to emulate for many people. I have a lot of respect for the art, mostly because of the self discipline involved in attaining ones goal.
No one can replace Bruce Lee! Even after 30 years, people are so slow compared to him. He was lighting, thunder, and formless, yet , so much action- everywhere and no where to be touched. Not even his own family could master what he mastered. Edmondo ( etsonggalaxy.)
I like Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, and Tony Jaa to name a few worthy martial arts experts. But, Bruce is still the ultimate and will continue to be emulated. Any excellent up-and-coming fighter will be compared to him. Bruce might have an unfair advantage, but he did set the pace, and most fighters don't come close. Not that most of them are trying. It's probably a waste of time. But, for those who can handle years of self discipline, Bruce is still the goal, even after all of these decades.
My name is Gonzalo. Bruce to me changed how I started training & developing products to help me advance my skills. I'm no Martial Art's est how can you love this guy!!..
