For the naturists, there is a nice sunbathing area just a few minutes downstream. Nude sunning is permitted there. It is kept very clean and friendly people gather there.

Thanks for posting this. I live just down the road from Split Rock and it's amazing. I'm surprised there wasn't anyone there. It's usually full of people.
