  • im in the ROTC program too

  • I shoot best with open sights LOL :)

  • squeeze the trigger

  • jrotc huh

  • i have that same gun

  • you have the same 22. that i do i think is it a semi-automatic savage?!

  • 64ft?thats it

  • air rifles are .22 cal as well you can even get a 50 cal air rifle and theres no difference with zeroing an air rifle and a .22 and how can a .22 take you longer it shoots faster and straighter

  • i have the same gun

  • Savage do the best 22 caliber ever.

  • Put lock tight on your screws

  • privates shouldnt have video privliges.

  • im 12 and my cousin is 7 and we both shot the real gun .22 caliber and we did good shooting at the can

  • I love shooting. 22 rifles so fun

  • Hi, I'm Claire Tweety, Texas State Patrol... But I just got my .22, and I'm pretty used to a tazer, Hahah... Well your videos are actuelly helpful, thanks.

  • Air rifle scopes zero the same way as any other scope.

  • I have the exact same rifle

  • no offence but the tape on the front of your rifle is fucking with the gun because its actually a free floating barrel meaning its not supposed to be attached to ur body, lower reciver what everyou wanna call it

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • Is that a gamo scope?

  • I searched "weird .22 ammo" and this came up.

  • man you look young lol. More kids these days should be like you. Clean cut w ith their shit straight. But thye'd rather listen to lady gaga and paint their nails black and put eyeliner on and pantyhose on their arms and pretend they have it hard.

  • Nice ACU do you get them in JROTC? P.S How much would a 22.cal airsoft rifle cost?

  • @militaryfan90 Yeah I got these from them, now I am enlisted as a E-2 and have my own :)

  • @SFCGrazier Awesome, You know that if you do ROTC and join the military you go in as an E-3.

  • @militaryfan90 you have to do 3 years, I have only done 2 so now I get E-2

  • @militaryfan90 Actually, that would be JROTC. If you do actual ROTC, you go in as an O1.

  • @militaryfan90 what do you mean

  • Im 9 ive never shot a gun but bb guns but my cousin is gonna take to shoot a 22

  • 10/22's are for tacticool COD fanboys.

  • you can get .22 air rifles just so you know

  • what exactly is a synthetic stock?

  • @TATEORTOT32 its basically a plastic stock, but way stronger

  • im am going to shooting 1 of those in a month

  • I speak from experience, I have a savage .17 hmr and at three months old, the blueing is diminished surface rust everywhere, I have to keep it oiled all the time to keep it from getting any worse, although accurate, there's no attention to detail, my 1976 model 10/22 has had a Hella hard life and still looks better and shoots better hands down

  • Wow I can't believe you'd even try to compare this cheap piece of junk to a 10/22, a 10/22 is better in every way

  • @cummins92bankspower While i have to admit the 10/22 is a great rifle there is nothing that qualifies this as "junk" Its a savage its a highly accurate ugly stocks (typically) and of the 4 rifles i own my 2 savages are the only ones i havent had any issues with. I would take the 10/22 just for the after market following.

  • nice to see a fellow cadet :)

  • Dude, it's loose because it's a floating barrel. lol

  • i had one its such an unbelievably accurate rifle

  • I had a model 64 and loved it. It's a great rifle.

  • hi im buying my first rifle and my price range is $100-$500 i wont it to be a .22 cn you recomend any if you can it would be a great help.

  • @frostbitepaintballs My top recommendations are Savage 64, Ruger 10 22, or the outstanding Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22

  • @frostbitepaintballs savage the only way to go get a mark 2 easy to clean its like 200 buck and is the most accurate of every 22 ive ever owned and i got everything from cz to winchester and sears and roebuck

  • .22 doesnt differ that much from an m16. similar kick

  • what does jrotc stand for? thanks

  • @intheloo2 Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, its a great program

  • EYE PROTECTION

  • @xFamita i never wear eye protection when shooting a 22

  • wow your cool put your jrotc uniform on to make a gun vid

  • @EatDeeznuts1 wow your gay, I am in the Army now you bitch

  • @SFCGrazier you sure??

it says soon to be in the army reserves.

your not in the army yet, and most likely will never be.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 wow your dissing me on my mistake of not updating my page. Why dont you go watch my most recent video before you open your mouth again

  • @SFCGrazier umm ok...

but your still in the RESERVES!!

    you still fail.

now keep shooting that pussy .22

  • @EatDeeznuts1 wow so you are shitting on a guy that can deploy at anytime to defend your country? Oh and by the way shit head I am deploying 2012, so in my next video I will make sure to include you and let everybody know about you unless you apologize for saying that. You are not only offending me, but you are offending the other 200,000 reservist.

  • @SFCGrazier dont argue with people who comment on your vids just give them a nice remark that pisses them of alot more also good luck for when you deploy and your doing our country proud :D

  • Comment removed

  • @SFCGrazier dont worry about this kid... look at his profile he plays call of duty and he thinks he knows about guns haha

  • @SFCGrazier Hey chill out SFC you are embarassing the rest of us military men and women that have deployed and have been shit on and talked down to by us civilians all over this country as well as in every country we go to just let it roll off your back dont act like a child on youtube demanding apologies.

  • @mbrooks0816 These people are retarded, i swear some of these people that post comments are fucking traitors

  • lol jrotc.

  • When you shoot, are you closing your left eye?

  • @readme60 I dont believe I am but this was back in the old days lol

  • @SFCGrazier yeah this is a couple years old, but do you do it now? because I'm pretty young and im experimenting with shooting different ways. I've always closed my left eye though.

  • @readme60 Okay I understand, I keep it half way open so I still have some situational awareness, if its a long distance then I close it a little

  • @SFCGrazier i see

  • .22's are fun to shoot because you don't get shooters shoulder after 10 rounds. lol.

  • Oh I was just wondering because normally I see people use either 223 or 243's. Thanks for the info

  • semi auttomatico

  • Are you a grunt?

  • @Richvf93 not really just reserve

  • How good are the .22's for shooting coyotes?

  • @turnertalich88 Perfect thats what a lot of people use

  • Is this savage 64f good for a first rifle ? Mainly will use it for target practice and small game hunting. Would be my first gun I've only really shot air rifles and paintball guns before.

  • @Hogo69 OH YEAH!! This is a awesome gun

  • que marca es ese 22 ??

  • @MsJeycob si

  • @SFCGrazier he asked what brand was the 22

  • @bobydjones Oh I thought he asked is it a 22

  • okay, so help me out if you can. I am looking to buy my first gun (not an air rifle) and the 22. longs look like they have a wee bit of recoil, all of the 22.'s i have shot have had no recoil at all. the recoil isn't a problem.. i'm just want to know what to expect.

    Thanks!

  • @FailLolWin812 I say buy this gun or the ruger 10 22, this gun does not recoil much, i am just being a pussy or something in this video lol

  • @FailLolWin812 Well there is a little recoil, but it is nothing compared to anything else you will shoot. It is very manageable for anyone to shoot.

  • i got my self a leupold vxii on my 10/22

  • Did you say allen wrenches suck? WHAT? The allen screws that hold my .50 cal muzzeloader stock on do a great job. And they hold up to a shit load of recoil. Oh and I just thought id add that it's going to be hard to "Zero" in you rifle with a loose stock, and loose sight rings. But other then that it was a good video. Im looking to get a semi .22, I might go with the Ruger 10/22. Idk thou.

  • @supernerd1985 only get he 10/22 if you want to heavily customize it. Unless customized heavily its not that accurate and way to much money.

  • What would you say is the effective range of the Savage 64f? I want to take it coyote hunting and The range I have been to is only 25 yards long, which is not a problem.

  • @0958mcg The longest I have shot this without a probelm is 100 yards. Telling somebody the Max Effective range is hard because it depends on the person. I would say this gun is great for coyote hunting, I have used it a couple times to hunt rabbits.

  • what a dodgy setup, even if u sight it in it will be out straight away coz scope iss moving round

  • o thats gay==( so u have lots of guns

  • but not night vision goggles

  • @lunar22ful I doubt it, I am not sure because I was not even issued any lol

  • @lunar22ful I doubt it, I am not sure because I was not even issued any lol

  • if u join the army can u take home night vision googles or a ak47 please comment or any thing

  • @lunar22ful umm not an AK, there is certain things you can take home like your MICH Helmet

  • im in jrotc mother fucker

  • do you want to see the rounds of a 22 long?

  • it way up because you turnd the dile way to much buddy

  • At what distance do you try to sight in your scope?

  • @0958mcg A good range is 25 meters thats what we do in the Army

  • I like how you think your all bad ass waring your "JROTC" uniform that you probably got at a spring camp...nice rifle though.

  • @473brandon Look here jackass you dont know me, this was a long time ago and right now I am a PVT2 in the Army. Your the one who thinks your badass trying to call me out on YouTube.

  • @473brandon If he wanted to be badass, he would get a uniform that doesn't say JROTC on it.

  • @wafflecushioned Exactly, thank you for being a good youtuber

  • Hey! i was wondering where i can find a scope(any type of scope i really don't care as long as its good priced) i need one for my savage 64f. Thanks!!! =)

  • @JibnatPickon I bought a UTG Picatinnty rail mount and then bought a leapers scope

  • i have a model 23a sporter made in about 1917 i think and ive been looking for at least a 10 round mag but only found an 8 round you know anywhere where i can get one

  • @boguebrad Dude I looked for like 10 min and could not find a thing.

  • are you really in the army?

  • @TheBus627 Yes I am a Private in the Army E-2

  • Comment removed

  • Semi-automatic?

  • good trigger disipline. what branch of the armed forces are/were u in?

  • @jay144566 I am in the Army Reserves

  • IS IT ATOMATIC

  • a 22 is nothin but all other bigger guns r most deadly lol !

  • @2009Saskatchewan take a 22 LR to the neck and tell me its nothing.

  • u see how far the trigger moves thats y i like big guns better

  • my .22 cal groups are as tight as a 12 year old lol

  • oh and your a dick for using a scope becouse in the new zealand army we dont use a scope we we dnt evin use the rifle that you have we use a bolt action in the army hahahaha we still go old school but we are still fucking good

  • @nicholas8869 nice spelling and grammar

  • @nicholas8869 how is he a dick for using a scope just because your cave man army dont use modern tech dont mean u gotta be a lil bitch i got the same gun with a bigger scope so fuck u

  • Wow, that trigger has VISIBLE creep.

  • wow 3 bucks for 50 rounds i got 525 rounds for 20 bucks do the math a much better price (Dunhams is where i got them) they are hollow ends cant get the brand name atm but if u really need it just message me and i could get it to you

  • good vid, i had this .22 but never really liked it, maybe ill get a ruger 10/22 sometime see if it works better

  • quick question want is the blue tape for on the magazine?

  • @donovanx85 the magazine comes so sharp so I put the tape for cushion

  • Is this gun like loud enough to get a neighbors attention or call the cops otherwards is it much louder then a patato cannon

  • @fordtruckrule its not that loud, i would check with a local leo

  • dude i love that someone can use a reil rifle but y dont you try using it with out the scope it esyer and funner trust me ive tryed it

  • you able to use an air rifle scope on a .22?

  • @fatnerdygeek yep its pretty cool

  • @SFCGrazier my dad is gonna buy this gun soon and i was wondering what kid of scopes can we buy for it got any ideas? And can i use like a sniper scope on it like with mil dots just cuz i like the way they look

  • you in the rotc?

  • @tractorman96 yes sir

  • this gun goes on one day sale at bas pro shops this sunday. gonna be 110.00 regularly around 175.00. lookin forward gettin mine.

  • Now I know this might sound silly, but I just can't figure out how to tell wether a gun is male or female. Any help? lol

  • @aaronketten what do you mean, theres no male or female gun

  • im looking into buying this .22 and i wanted to know is it well worth the money

  • @ozzyrocker10 It is dude, this 22 is better than the 10 22. The only thing the 10 22 has going for it is versatility.

  • gamo / savage are my favorite man. I keep seeing your videos pop up also grazier. I have the gamo big cat 1200 airgun and the savage 64f

  • @hyperactivecalvino DUDE!! I got the same guns! I love them both

  • I have the same gun in flat black. I have a 3x9 40mm red/green dot center point scope.

  • @tj11viper I am tricking mine out with picatinny rails, EOTech and tactical light and forward grip.

  • @tj11viper I am tricking mine out with picatinny rails, EOTech and tactical light and forward grip.

  • How can you zero in a loose scope? And you should only fire a gun whose parts are in 100 percent working condition.

  • Sorry wrong account I'm the c/CSM at oakland not hmboone1

  • sweet I just got that gun yesterday. Its an excellent gun for $130-140

I suggest the Remmington brass coated hollow points. I got 525 for $20

  • @hyperactivecalvino Thats good bro, but remmington ammo i do not like, it has the most issues out of all of them. I suggest federal ammo, if you want I have a video series on 22 bullets if you want to learn more

  • I have same gun and same scope xD

  • not exactly it sounded like it so i watched it again and im still not sure. is your clip a pain to load too?

  • wtf its semi auto shit people its not a dahm bolt action! get it right!

  • @grim651 haha dude you just got to let it go lol. Think of me and what I have to deal with and I have 90 videos.

  • @SFCGrazier well your like the 8th person to say the savage 64f model 40001 is not a semi auto so i kinda wanted to say something about people being wrong. i didnt mean to bad mouth your vid just if you can hit the targets with just the iron sights at 50 yards then i would be impressed a little but not 30 with a scope

  • @grim651 Did I say it was a bolt action in the video?

  • heey, ive shot one of those haha,

  • @u452u hows yours holding up?

  • @SFCGrazier well, its not actually mine, im only 13 with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and when i was a requit with them, thats when im shooting, but i did pree good wit no scope, i got all of them in the target at a 30 meter range distance, but i might be getting one soon. and im gonna subcribe to ya :)

  • @u452u Thanks man for the sub. Thats pretty good at 30 meters dude

  • How much recoil has it?

  • @borsaga1 There is like no recoil at all

  • @borsaga1 Ok, thank u. Pretty gun.

  • @borsaga1 yeah no problem

  • Comment removed

  • Savage does not make crap.

  • I have had this rifle for over 2 years. Mine isn't falling apart like yours... must be abused.

  • Well, if a piece broke off of your rifle just from shooting it must mean it is a pretty crappy rifle?? I am perplexed when I hear something like that. What is the warranty on it? I am considering the bolt action Savage Mark II. What would you think sir. Thx. Sincerely,d JAMES.

  • @buzzclark Its not really from me shooting it. I was testing it to see if it works like the AK 47 with reliability and durability and I was sticking it in Sand, swamp water, mud, dirt, everything and it just had it. Even though the fed ramp broke it still works as if it did not need it lol. The warranty is no good anymore because of the amount of time I have had it.

  • savage is an ok gun..little pieces tend to break though..

  • you said because airrifle is 177cal not 22cal my logun solo is a .22cal m8 .

  • 22s are probably more powerful than most rifles because if they enter the body they'll just bounce around hitting shitloads of vital organs :P

  • the reason its loose is because the barrel is free floated. taping it down defeats the purpose.

  • @terryevangustafson that is not the reason, it never did that until the screw holding the barrel broke. I know my rifle.

  • i would say zeroing and air rifle is harder becous the bullets can be moved by the wind ?
