@AdamRC007 i tied a big ass rope to a tree and my back yard and did it like 10 times during a workout for pre-season wrestling. it makes your forearms huge(better grip) and you feel like a badass while doing it
Elliott you throw your equipment around too much mate, calm down. You're going to break something. I see it with you heavy handling your lappy, I see you slamming your phone on your table. Take it easy. Some things need a little sensitive touch man you know?!
yo elliot!! training for the police academy but i cant run! i get severe pains on the inside of my shins shoes stores say i over pronate some people say thats BS.. ive spent crazy amounts on shoes is there a way to strengthen the inner shin? or should i just go to the docs already? The two guys who have inspired me the most in the same video! You guys are great. Hey, I made my first Atlas Stone (still drying). It is 240lb and 18” in diameter. After a general warm-up and stretch is it ok to just start loading it or should I do something else to prime myself for it (like with a deadlift, you don’t just start lifting 405lb, you do something like, 135, 225, 315). How do you get your body ready for lifting a 240lb stone? I do plan on making a 200lb stone using a 10” insert.
@yyportne VOLUME! My coach Tom Mitchell used to have me load the 225 stone like 50 times a workout before moving me up to the 250 stone. Get LOTS of time on the smaller one first.
I love these videos, would be good if he got some guys talking about supplements, alot of these videos arn't really helping the community as a whole, for example this video was specifically for wrestling, and I know he only created it because someone asked him, but I think a topic which all athletes have in common are supplements etc..if you were to ask wrestlers about their diets etc.. e.g how they would loose weight to go down a class, now that is beneficial to everyone wanting to loose weight
@qpfc Well this is the, 'Yo Elliot,' series. Where he only answers questions that people send in to him. ...Other than this series, he usually does talk about a broad topic than almost everyone can relate to. ..It has been a while since he has done Supplement videos though.
@JoeBird76 Yeah I know what ye mean, but i was thinking if he is going around seeing all these guys, instead of just asking the one qeustion a viewer has asked, it would be cool if he threw in a couple more questions about nutrition and supplements etc...would be cool to see their opinons on other shit, but thats just me
@qpfc I understand what you are saying but realize that Elliott has had a youtube channel for about 4 years. I would bet he has covered just about anything you could think of. Type this into the youtube search bar: “Creatine For Mass and Strength” and you will get one of his supplement videos, mind you it is 2 yrs old so he may have changed his opinion/view since then. Anyhow you may want to go through his older videos or just post a video question.

Would training for grip strength be important as well for wrestling?
AdamRC007 10 months ago
@AdamRC007 You get tons of that from deadlifting - no joke.
