for everyone that has the problem "cannot validate game version" you have to downgrade ur patch thingy :)

DONT DOWNGRADE OTHERWIZE EVRYONE ELSE WHO TRYS TO JOIN WILL HAVE TO DOWNGRADE ASWELL! just go into the logon.conf and the antrix.conf and find the bits that say something like "MaxClientBuild" and change the code ( eg. number like 7799 )to the number at the bottom of the WoW sign-in bit, when you start it up and your about to log in, dont just look at the bottom of the screen and next to the patch number there is a code just put that in the .conf's were nessersery and u dont have to downgrade!:D

Check the version if its 2.2.2 if your realmlist is on I dunno what your server is registered on and make sure the server works correctly

U must downgrade ur wow version.

go to ur wow main folder (C:/Worldofwarcraft)

Go to data folder, delete Patch.MPQ ( it can be a nr. 2 there to, delete it 2.)

Now go to repair. this can takes 5-10 min.

after that find patch 2.1.0enGB elns :P

Run it. now change ur realmlist to what u want it to be. :)

Ok, this is how you down-patch your woW : first go to your wow folder and find a file called DATA, then delete patch.mpq and/or patch2.mpq, then click on the repair button.then let it finish it and you are at 2.0.0, now go to a patch site and download the right patches, now install them..

Ok well i am here to say the max client build thing does not work for the lateest wow patch but i have the solution this is what you do put MinClientBuild = 7318 and

MaxClientBuild = 8000

and everything will be fine ^_^ good luck and BTW i need some help i need maps 2-15 there missing from my maps folder no matter how many times i download it......and some insstances do not work because of this.

also you need a minimum of v2.1.

i didn't make this file so i dont know how it works the info here is just info from the other video. if maxclient build = 7318 doen't work i dont know what will. and i don't yet know about 2.2.3 so don't ask about that. and YES the file from rapidshare ISN'T working so im uploading it it should be on soon.

when you open up WoW and you look in the bottom-left corner, next to the patch number you have installed it has the build number in brackets. this is the number that you change in the logonserver.conf file.

i'm going to test if this works with other builds as well. i'll comment back when i find out.
