Hi rockongood people, i've got a fundamnetal question here. I can chuck no problem on the barre chords because your fingers will be already on those and so there will be no open strings left ringing when you chuck. Say with theC for example you don't move either your 3rd or 4th finger to mute the G string(which would be normally open with a C). So that's what I don't get. Are you muting that string also with your index finger to get the full mute sound, it's hard to see and it's kinda buggin me!
hey dave i tryed to download the chart for all the chords in the major scale from your lesseon with making your own song th link isnt working anymore, do u know where i can find the chart?
i rely learn sth new from u guyz.. rockongoodpeople... newlevelguitar.. gud.. other videos i watched got me puzzled for a total beginner like me.. but ur teachin makes a beginner knoes wud im doin
Thanks for making acoustic stuff! :) Makes me happy. I play acoustic and I love these lessons! I've improved majorly because of your videos. Thanks again, and ROCK ON! :D
it's not really a acoustic guitar, in one of his other videos he teels that its a acoustic electric guitar wich sounds really good plugged in. so i think he has it plugged in now, thats why the guitar has the nice reverb..
i've tried to teach myself to open chord chuck using a loose fretting hand finger to dampen the strings instead if palm muting because i found it quite more difficult to strum consecutive up/down chucks properly while palm muting the strings. i just thought i'd throw that out there for anyone. and good lesson by the way!
okay what does he mean by a five chord resolving to the one?

David and Tim, What's happened to the quality of your videos? They aren't up to your normal high standard of video excellence.

I find it difficult to chuck with a heavier pick (I'm used to .75 for my Strat). What would you recommend for acoustics?

Barre chords are definitely better for chucking like that, great lesson.
Jack Johnson songs are great to practice these kinds of chuck playing, he use it in just about all he's songs.
