  • "Is this a repeat show?" HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • One of the best shows ever put on TV, nuff ' said !!

  • At least "some" of those people had to be pre-arranged plants, right? Also notice when the lady comes on stage, she's going up the stairs - this is studio 33, the same stairs that the price is right contestants used to come on stage.

  • The audience must have shown up in a fleet of short busses

  • @Marvcohen LOL!

  • Does anyone remember when she did the question and answer time...and a family member asked if she remembered them??? Would love to see that show!!

  • @haircutter17 wasn't it a guy, and wasn't it her cousin or something? Which episode was that?

  • I always wondered if that last lady was planted there by the show.

  • @MrMoonlight222 I think it was in Carol Burnett Show Stoppers that Carol said that she had never met the lady, but how did Terri McCann know that the lady asking if she was Maude know that she was from New York? I still wonder the same thing though.

  • They're in California, EVERYBODY has an act...

  • I laughed so hard at is this a repeat. :)

  • You......

    You screwed it up.

    I'm sorry.

    ROFL

  • Could someone help me find "Caged Dames" Carol did with Lily Tomlin in Season 6, Episode 9, Airdate: 11-8-1972, please?

  • @stevenscottoddballz That's a great scene. It's here on YT. Just type in "Carol Burnett Lily Tomlin" without the quotation marks, and it will show up.

  • Full of brilliance! "Just on the floor!" "Where is the ladies' room?" and the random duet of "You Made Me Love You..." super. Thanks for sharing!

  • was that lady who asked if this is a repeat show for real? lol

  • @keleic I know, right? I was like, what the heck? LOL!

  • i'll bet that was"maude's" high-light of her life singing with carol!!

  • "Is this a repeat show" LMAO!!

  • some people sure ask a lot of stupid questions haha

  • First kiss from a dog! class.

  • Holy shoot, I'm only 25 so I didn't get to watch this on TV, but my god, this woman and her show are great.

This was a time when people on TV actually HAD talent, nay REQUIRED talent to be put on television. Nowadays any schlub retard gets their own show...

I wish I was born 20 years earlier, <3 the old days(even if I wasn't alive back then)

  • @Archedgar Well said! Back in the 70's, it REQUIRED talent to be on television. Very well said. It was wonderful watching Carol Burnett on CBS on Saturday nights. We all watched it as a family growing up. Such nice times back then!

  • carol burnett and whats-her-face singing. all time classic!

  • A time when we had REAL T.V. !!!

  • It is the honesty and the ability to laugh at one's self that makes Carol Burnett so inimitable. The impromptu duet in this clip shines. Carol, you make us all Love you.

  • Reagan should have stayed in CA!!!

  • Yeah? Really? If Reagan had stayed in California we wouldn't have had the greatest president of the 20th century.

  • @kibukun No, we wouldn't have had the DUMBEST President of the 20th century.

  • 3:14 is that the grandma of susan boil :P

  • Reagan should of stayed in California.

  • Nobody has better rapport with the audience than Carol. So genuinely affectionate and warm and giving ... not to mention hilarious.

    Love you, Carol.

  • Is/Was Carol pregnant at 0:33 ??

  • LMAO ok wow the singing lady was the best!! lol but i did want to hear the rest of the poem sweet boy,

  • 3:35 reminds me of "Maude"

  • the last segment with maude (?) shows just how good carol burnett is. she can bring out the humor in anything. classic clip. thank you for sharing it.

  • The last segment was the best. That lady had a pretty good voice.

  • the woman who sang reminds me of Bea Arthur, lol

  • what kinda soap do they use? Is this lady drunk? just on the floor... priceless!

i love the lady singing you made me love you to the other lady. is she coming out? lol

  • Is this a repeat show? lol

  • The Best!

  • soooooo funny.....that woman asking about the floor cleaner....LMAO! xxx

  • ROTFLMAO! Too funny!

  • The secene with the guest and Carol singing 'You Made Me Love You' is probablly the best scene from the show ever....I grew up on this show and this is my favorite

  • what I don't get is how the orchestra was able to pick up on the song so fast...

  • Good session orchestras and musicians can play pretty much anything that you request. Plus she told them what key to play it in so that made it that much easier. A lot of musicians can pick up on the chord progressions needed as soon as the person starts singing anyway. You have to remember that the musicians on this show were some of the best in the business at the time.

  • it's a pretty well covered song as well.

  • "You screwed it up"

    "I'm sorry"

lol, one of my favorites, too!

  • so wonderful! she's a magnificent comedienne!

  • I love that little lady! Thanks for posting! Long live Carol!!

  • JUST ON THE FLOOR... ROFLMAO!!!

  • I wish we knew who this 'You Made Me Love You' lady is. Anyone in the know?

  • I remember seeing that episode and she was brought to Carol's attention by another audience member who thought she was Bea Arthur. She says in it her name is Terry McNab (sp?)

  • I didn't know that. And I thought I was the only one that thought so...lol

  • WOW! The song at the end is amazing!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I absolutely love that lady who sings at the end.

  • Lol, me too! I love how she says, "'You Made Me Love You' in the key of G!"

    Fantastic stuff!
