  • Personally I'd make it twice as big with wheels on one side like a wheel barrow..looks too cramped for winter months

  • The dimensions are what pays the bills!

  • Nice tractor, but what are the dag gone dimensions? got the 90" top and 91.5" bottom, but what about height?

  • It was designed in Google Sketchup... a freeware program that's pretty awesome.

  • what is that programe called

  • lol!! Good stuff!! Led Zepplin? AND Chicken stuff? You must be quite awesome!

  • lol?!? Is that "Over the hills and Far away" by Led Zepplin that you are playing?

  • Yeah, sure is! Love me some Led Zepplin.

  • How many chickens can this design accomodate? Thx

  • 4-5 large breeds, 6-7 medium sized birds, or 8-10 of the bantams.

  • what software did you use to design the coop

  • It was designed in Google Sketchup. - David

  • just cant type today.....:-(

  • This design would work well for me having predators around and would be able to safely have away from the house area, as you as you built it heavy enough would be geat!

  • awesome led zeppelin with a chicken tractor...mindblowing!

  • thank you!!! you gave us an idea for our class project

  • I built one similar to this. Only thing I would do differently is to NOT attach the floor so it is easier to catch the chickens.

  • i think if you want to build something like this the best thing to do is look at existing products but design your own.

  • My design takes all the guesswork out of building the chicken ark. It saves 5 -6 hours or more of "figuring out".

I guess my response is: How much is your time worth to you? Would you pay someone like me $3.50 - $4.00 an hour to do all the legwork for you? It's less than minimum wage.

  • Wow this is nice.

  • Thank you!

  • can you share your tractor drawing .. calvin at ctw2118@yahoo.coom

  • This is such a cool design! I love how the needs of the chickens are met with a nice compact footprint!

  • Nice plans!
